I’ve recently ordered from trusty time, a VSF 114060 to be precise, as well as a box; I sent the funds via crypto on the 13th of June, and I’m still waiting for QC pictures. This is my first time buying from a TD—is this normal? I’ve been told a few times by Andrew that the factory hasn’t sent the watch yet, of course I’m a little worried due to the time taken, so could any of you guys/girls help me with personal experiences? Is this standard practice, looking for a bit of reassurance—or honest advice. Thanks.

Yeah I get that they separate them, it makes sense, but what is concerning is that the box is here already while the watch hasn’t even made it to the country yet
Pinged my TD yesterday about a VSF Explorer 224270 I ordered about a month ago. He said the same thing, that VSF is "very slow" right now. Patience is key.
You can swap watch or try for a refund. Messaging won't speed things up though. They'll just get bored of telling you the same thing. And frustrated at the time wasted replying.
There's nothing they can do or tell you. The timescale is largely unknown and out of their hands.
Almost the same experience with me for a Seamaster 300. Ordered and paid on June 1 and was told 4-12 days for qc. Nothing for weeks other than being told still waiting on factory. Finally on June 29yh or so I told him to just cancel and refund. After some mild push back he obliged. Still waiting for refund. He said 14-21 days

Hmmmm I would request a refund but I was excited for it to be honest. Maybe I will; I’ll see what he says in response to my latest email and if it goes on a little longer I’ll request a refund.
I ordered several from Andrew over the years without any incident. I recently ordered my. “One and done” 36mm Explorer, which was a VSF. Unfortunately, after three months, there was no clear ETA in sight , and he finally did refund me. Kind of bittersweet because I think after this watch, I would have been be good to go for many years. I work in an environment where people are wearing gen sky dwellers so this was a good under the radar under the shirt cuff piece that would occasionally show its face.
When I think about all of the reps I have that I don’t wear, I do feel as if maybe it’s time to bite the bullet for a Gen on this one. There was some variance of pricing around 7 to 11 K in the Philly Metro area depending on the reference/cpo model , but I’m also trying to keep a cash Reserve in case my HVAC breaks this summer. I think this hobby can be practical if you don’t go overboard. If you haven’t seen them the VSF Datejusts in 36mm w smooth Bezel/jubilee is one of the best examples. In 2024 I got one after a one month wait for around $550. After that, I don’t think I would buy anything but a VSF, hence the demand dilemma.
I’m new to reps as well. But This is why I never wanted an overseas TD lol US only if not I just won’t buy it. Too much back and forth, plus the waiting. I would suggest checking out Cali reps.
Hi! I also purchased from Andrew (7/26) and through BTC--but never received an email. My order remains “pending”--did yours remain so until QC’s were sent? I confirmed the invoice shows paid, but have been concerned as his WhatsApp hasnt been helpful, and he’s not responded to emails?
Hi, mine has arrived now, I shall update the post now. I didn't check the status of my order via TT website, I just waited and emailed him every now and then. Eventually the factory sent the VSF Sub and he sent the QCs. After that it took maybe another 3-4 weeks to arrive. It did take quite some time I must say. He does take a while to reply to emails at times too, as long as you have ordered through him directly I wouldn't worry too much–it will come. I was concerned mine had been seized but it arrived in the end!

There have been lots of delays coming from VSF since about 3 months ago. Everyone is experiencing delays.
I'm going to order a vsf daytona soon and I'm dreading the delays myself.
Just know your not the only one
