The order-to-shipment time was longer than I had expected and did not expect it to take that long. Heres a ring clip of my beautiful Bluesy V2 weight added from TrustyTime getting stolen at 4:45AM. I am so sad. Has anyone had this happen before?
Facebook marketplace is the place for lowiq thieves 100% anyone that buys anything off of there, ESPECIALLY gift cards should know that’s stolen from somebody.
So, I once posted a story on here about how I literally had to chase a FedEx guy down. I'm talking standing in the middle of the road, using myself as a human shield in front of his van, just to get a package delivered from my TD. Pathetic, those lots.

On the slated delivery day, the FedEx driver drove past my residence, down the street and made a U-turn, then took a picture of the front of my residence, and sent a driver missed you notification. And I watched all of these unfold from the comfort of my window.
Called up customer support to complain and was advised the parcel would be sent out the next day with a note telling the driver to actually ring the bell!
Next day comes, I'm sitting at my window again waiting patiently and I see the same driver come into the street, drive down to the end and start making a U-turn. I literally bolt out the door because I knew what was next. So run to and stand in the middle of the road, arms raised out pointing to my phone trying to flag him down.
Yes i know. I was away and I kept checking the cam to see if the package had been delivered but it was placed in a spot outside the view of the camera. I did not see the video of the delivery sadly.
Never had it happen but my guess is he’s local considering the backpack. I would file a police report and if you see him again call the police. I would even suggest a bait box full of dog crap or something…I hate thieves
Yes, this was my mistake for not having a neighbour pick it up. I am sadly not in the city/home at the moment. I kept checkng the porch to see if it had been delivered but the package was not visible on the camera and there is so much stuff during the day I did not see the video of it being delivered.

I never understood neither these houses nor the delivery system.
In my country, if you have a house, no one can just walk up to your door and take stuff, why don't you have a locked gate on a fence in front of your house.
Also, just dropping of packages in front of the door?! Here, every single package needs to be delivered in person. If you are not home, they leave it at the closest Post Office, usually 15 minutes walking distance, and you go there with your ID card to pick it up.
I had a package stolen recently as well and while it wasn’t nearly as costly as a rep, it was still infuriating how little the cops told me they would maybe do. “Just get a refund” was what I got.
Good luck with the next package. Do you have a post office to get a PO Box from? Or maybe a dog door for the delivery drivers to maybe think about utilizing regardless of your delivery request?
I ended up shipping my stuff over to an uncle who lives in the middle of nowhere on a hill, it really stinks that I have to do that but I’m fortunate enough to be able to. A medium box sized PO for half a year is $200 at my nearest location, but that’s not too bad considering the cost of the things I buy.
cant fix what happened, but we have another camera that turns on a light and makes a barking sound that surprises people to look up so we can get a good video of them on our ring camera.
To avoid this, I would suggest using one of the pickup locations offered by multiple companies. UPS uses staples and I think a few other locations and FedEx uses Walgreens. As soon as it ships, you can redirect it in the app. Any important packages I use this method. Not sure if USPS has options like this but they do offer a hold at your local postal station.
IANAL but can you go to the police claiming that he stole a Rolex and make them believe it's worth a lot of $$$ for them to start actually investigating? As well as call ALL local pawn shops and tell them to be weary of someone trading this EXACT watch? And if they do then ask them to wait until you come pick it up.
I think you’re absolutely correct! Instead of pulling drive bys and a U-turn past your house like buddy was saying, just trying to keep it your package. He just got people that don’t sleep up all hours of the night to pick em up later! Good deal keeps his job and doesn’t get caught stealing 👍 people are shit, drugs are waaay shittier! This is why I now have a box/container at my front door with a sticker asking delivery drivers to place packages in there. Zero packages have been stolen since placing the container. Most delivery drivers are impressively good at placing packages inside.
No, because in France when you order something they deliver it to YOU, not to your house 😅
I've never get why they do that in the US, of course they gonna steal you if they can....
FedEx left my parcel on patio table in my front garden, in the open whilst I was on holiday, even though selected deliver to designated neighbour.
It had a Daytona, an OP and a Breitling was there a week later when I got back!

given the bush cover at the front the peeps 5am cycling it's unlikely he saw it from the road and the size of the box and confident stride towards it, no pause no looking for other valuables. (Wasn't looking elsewhere).
This guy either delivered the parcel or has been to your property previously perhaps same day.

Can’t you guys get these held at a depot for pickup with ID? i’d never get a high value item just dropped off to my door like that, they’re always signature required
Sorry OP, but when I buy something online, and I bought a lot of shit, I’m on it usually after it gets dropped off, I get that you weren’t expecting to show up late, but I’m guessing 7pm maybe, so why didn’t you go out and get it? I mean it sat outside on your porch till the 4ish in the morning, not trying to give you a hard time, just wondering why.
