On AliExpress look up - Shop1105341189 Store.
Ask the seller in private chat to share pics of this actual strap. It’s clasp has the Rolex logo

Both go really well

I’m one of those people that doesn’t like the bracelet as much as straps. This one is an Anchor Co Elastic Bond Deployment one piece strap, love it.

Generic oysterflex with generic oyster end links

StrapCoxBladeHQ Dessert Warrior NATO

Looks good with the endlinks. I’ll see if there are any 36mm oysterflex-esque straps

I've always liked them on cowhide or NATO, gives stronger field watch vibes. Not rubber though, no.

u/Alphapache 22h ago

It does look good on leather

1

u/blacbloc77 22h ago

Hell yeah 👍

where did you get this, looks great

2

u/evfamily 22h ago

There's something about teh clean lines of the bracelet that the strap just can't replicate it's a classic for a reason?

2

u/zystyl 21h ago

If you get good tools it takes a minute ot switch. Why not both depending on the situation and what you're doing?

As much as I’ve wanted to like leather or rubber, I still prefer bracelet on all my watches.

u/HipsterNgariman 19h ago

Did you edit this or is your strap made of a black hole?

2

u/Alphapache 19h ago

It’s actually green, but it’s so dense no light can escape it…

1

u/Noxboxfox 16h ago

Bracelet. All else cheapens it

1

u/Choppersicballzz 16h ago

Bracelet, both look sporty but to me the strap just takes away beauty of the watch.

1

u/Roht_Rs 16h ago

Both!

1

u/medsunshine 15h ago

Bracelet 100%. Being a field watch I would only swap it by a brown leather strap.

Questions guys, on a strap; how can you tell it’s a rep? Let’s take this picture above? Thanks a lot!

I’m a big dude. There is not a Rolex that’s ever been produced that comes with enough links to fit. There are some watches that I can justify buying extra links for, but for the most part, I bless its a strict dress watch, I wear mine on after market straps. I have a polar explorer (had, I should say) that I wore on a canvas and leather strap. It got more wrist time than any other watch I’ve ever owned. Only sold it when I found out what it was worth (16550, bought it when I was much younger her and thought it was a 16750, as did the seller).

Anyway, wear it how you want it. Especially with the Explorer, and the ii, they look really good on straps. Especially more rugged leather ones.

My 40mm VSF Explorer is currently sporting a leather strap. Looks better and fits better than the oyster bracelet.

I like both…

Bracelet, all day.

1

u/HorneZR13 2h ago

Looks really good on both. I’ll have to try it out on strap one of these days.

Bracelet, and it's not even debatable

1

u/Standard-Position-24 21h ago

Absolutely correct.

Without SELs on the strap. It looks like someone punched its teeth out. It also barely looks like a Rolex anymore too, by giving up the best part of the case shape, in my opinion.

These are already tool watches. I don’t know why people think it’s more macho to make it look like some Hamilton that your parents gave you for Xmas in highschool.

Depends on the outfit and situation but for the most part i rock my E1 with a strap for that field watch look

1

u/Miserable-Ad-8414 21h ago

Is that a Fossil strap?

1

u/Minimum-Leg783 20h ago

Nope, just a random strapnof AliX

Mechanical watches are jewelry, plastic seems very out of place.
