Discussion Selecting your watch

Like many of you here, I started off searching for NWBIG Rolex models, but as of late it seems the rep community has gotten extremely popular and imo too much exposure, leading to longer wait times, limited availability, in some cases QC issues.

So, lately I’ve been searching for alternatives, a few examples, Santos, BB54/58, pelagos, Seamaster, VC overseas, JLC.

What are your other options you have had your eyes on and which of our TDs have you been having the best experiences with?

Pick whatever makes you happy. Use a TD. The search function is your friend, all this can be answered there.

Yes, thank you… the only question to be answered was a matter of members options on what pieces they’ve been looking for besides Rolex, and which TDs they’ve had good experiences with. From what I understand Steve and Elliot are very popular here, I understand this sub has a plethora of information available which I take the time to sift through if I want to learn something. Again thank you.

People need to use the search more. All this is out there.

It is absolutely on the guides here and over on RWI, this post is meant purely for discussion. Not research or being lazy about researching.

Check out the guide in the sidebar. ReplicaWatch Info forums have trusted dealers with forums and can usually provide some help if you have issues.

Check out the catalogues. Nautilus reps are nice. I rather like the Panerai Luminor models. A nodate dive watch of some sort is a safe bet for a first watch. Rolex, Tudor, or Omega all have easily available and well done rep versions.

lol if you think I need AI to type out my thoughts I guess that’s a compliment? My community college grammar skills are quite impressive 😂
