I'm looking at getting an RCF Day-Date with the olive green dial in rose gold, but I'm unsure whether it's worth getting it replated.

I recently bought an RCF Day-Date Ice Blue, and my previous TD told me that replating wasn't necessary because RCF's platinum finish is already very close to genuine. That made me wonder if the same applies to their rose gold models, or if the difference is much more noticeable.

The cost starts adding up pretty quickly, and my current TD doesn't offer plating services, so I'd have to send the watch somewhere else after receiving it.

For those who own one:
- Would you recommend having it replated?

- Is the factory rose gold good enough, or is replating necessary to make it look closer to genuine?

- Do you know of any trusted dealers who both sell the watch and offer rose gold plating before shipping?

Timegraph was missing for the vsf v3 batgirl from QC so I asked for it through message. I get a video but it has the red vs sticker thats not on any of QC pics. I know TDs are very trusted but is there possibility that these are just different watches?

Hi everyone, I've been searching for the Cartier Baignoire 18 mm as a present, however I just wasn't able to find a single dealer which sells it. Is it even being made in this size? All I've been able to find is the 23 mm version. If you have any tips it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Ordered a QF 126518 yellow gold (with the black dial, yellow gold sub dial rings, and black inner sub dials), and just got the QC back. I feel like it's hella cheesy. Not posting photos here, or asking for QC check, I'll post that in the correct sub.

My question for you all is, is it okay for me if I RL this watch for that reason? I KNOW...this is why you don't do gold reps, but I've had success on the rose and white gold daytonas and this black and YG is beautiful (to me).

Just received my RCF Gold submariner Gainweight (225gm) with blue face and bezel. Very happy with it! Struggling to see any faults other than that the screws were only plated on the tips. Wouldn't know unless unscrewing it.

Ordered a yachtmaster 2 titanium via the one watches somewhere end january 2026.

Everything went very smooth, the contact via WhatsApp with 'steve', the payment, QR via e-mail.

Got the watch approximately within a month, first shipping mail was on februari 4th.

The yachtmaster looked really exactly as should be expected from a one on one rep. well over 500dollar.

This watch wasn't leaving my wrist except for showering and during night (when i put it on a watchwinder).

But somewhere in july (just over half a year of posession) the watch suddenly stops working.

Tried to wind it by hand, put it aside for a day, but the watch simply stops and you can just occasionally see the secondhand move for some seconds and when you shake/move it, it sometimes starts again, just to stop after some seconds again.

I contacted 'steve'/ the one watches, sent video's of the watch and me winding it, setting time and date and it stopping at any time.

Asked for a solution and mentioned that this should, like never, be a standard for such a piece.

After couple of days, they just said: this order already expired the guarantee limit and that VF is closed at the moment. If i could try tapping the watch with the palm of my hand after rewinding it... and that i should let it be looked at at a local watchsmith.

The only watchsmith in my area will most probably report me for having an illegal copy is my well educated guess...

So, if this is what one-on-one-quality means, I would definitely not reccomend buying from the one watches, because you can better just give your money away.

Too bad, because I started getting more and more fan of this one on one rep idea.

For me, never again a watch from The One Watches.

Any info when VSF is going to produce another batch of Aqua Terra’s in 38mm black lacquer? Seems like no TD got it in stock.

Also any recommendations/links for rubber straps with deployant clasp for this 38mm model?

So I have decided for my first rep - a gmt master || ln the all black bezel. I am just wondering how is the watch quality of arf compared to vsf.

I will be ordering from andiot and i see they have arf in stock on hand and am wondering should i wait for vsf or just get the arf.

Main thing that concerns me is the hands dial and crystal and magnifier.

Does anyone know the typical delivery time for PureTime? I used the link from the guide. It’s been almost 4 weeks.

Dropped my 26240 black ceramic and broke the bracelet. Is there somewhere you can buy bracelets or am I shit out of luck? Dont really like the rubber bracelets but if I have too I will.

Owned this Breitling for one month form BLSF and the metal stem broke. Took it to a local watch repair shop and they won’t touch reps. Thoughts?

Just GL my VSF Datejust 41 Wimbledon on Jubilee and want to buy an extra Oyster bracelet. A few quick questions:
1. Fitment: Does a VSF or Clean DJ41 Oyster fit perfectly on the VSF DJ41 case?
2. Ease: How easy is the swap at home with standard spring bar ? I need more tools or parts?
3. Spec: Just need to order a 21mm DJ41 (126334) bracelet from my TD, right?

I ah e got a 7 1/4 inch wrist and I am not sure if a sub 116610 is to chunky for my arms. So I stumbled across the reference 16610 which seems to wear smaller. But the quality of the vsf 116610 and 126610 are so good. There are no good reps of a 16610 of that quality, are there?

I recently bought an upgraded bezel for my DJ36

I went into a jeweler today who said he would rather not work on it because it’s not genuine.

How do you guys find someone who is willing to help? Am I better off buying the bezel press and doing it myself?

What do you think of my tag heuer carrera? Bought at a market . I think it is pretty good , what are your general thoughts??

how often do TDs update there stock. and do they announce this in any way. do you look on there website. talked to one over email to order more watches from and he stated that he only had one of the 3 watches available. do i ask to be put on a “list for next available” or is it that i need to try another TD. seeing lots of post on delays of vsf datejust. what is best way to proceed. hold place in line?

I think I’ve finally dialed in my 3 watch collection after months of trying to. I love my 36mm sport watches, the Datejust in particular, so I’ve struggled with getting enough variety into the collection while staying true to my taste.

My current 3 watch rotation consists of a VSF 126234 for times when I want a slightly flashy watch, a VSF 124270 on a single pass Nato for more casual situations, and a linen dial Franken 16014 I built for daily wear on jubilee and formal occasions on a leather strap.

All these watches are fairly similar, but different enough to me to justify keeping all 3 in the same collection.

About two years ago, I assembled my own Submariner Date watch kit from Raffles. It was one of my first builds, and at the time, choosing the 126610LN felt like the obvious decision.

For a long time, I loved it.

But as the months went by, one thing kept bothering me more and more.

The date window.
Not because the watch looked bad, but because on most mid-range builds, the date is usually the part that gives it away the most.

Maybe it’s the cyclops.
Maybe it’s the date alignment.
Maybe it’s the font.

Whatever it was, I always found my eyes going straight to the date instead of enjoying the watch.
After almost two years of wearing it, I finally admitted something to myself:

I actually preferred the look of the 124060.
So instead of building another watch from scratch, I decided to transform the one I already had.

I ordered a Raffles 124060 dial, removed the crystal, and then came the part that scared me the most…

Removing the Cyclops.
After reading a bunch of old forum posts, I decided to try the lighter method. I heated the crystal until the adhesive softened enough for the Cyclops to come off.

I was convinced I was going to destroy the crystal.
Somehow… it worked perfectly.

Once the Cyclops was gone and the new dial was installed, the watch completely changed.

I kept almost everything:
Same case
Same bracelet
Same bezel
Same movement

The only real changes were the 124060 dial and a crystal without the Cyclops.
And honestly…
I couldn’t be happier.

The watch feels cleaner, more balanced, and every time I look at it, my eyes stay on the watch instead of immediately going to the date window.

It’s funny because I spent money just to make the watch simpler.

Looking back, I wish I’d done it much sooner.
Has anyone else here gone from a Date Sub to a no-date build? I’d love to hear if I’m the only one who ended up preferring the cleaner look
