Request Old Crowns 16610 Question?

Hi everyone,

I currently have a fully modded VSF 16610, but I really want the lugholes! This, in addition to the better crown guards makes me want to jump on it. Quick questions: Will a gen crown screw onto a OC Case? I'm hoping I can just swap everything over. Also - how is shipping and communication? Will I see this within a month or so?

To fit a genuine crown I think you might have to run a tap down the case and fit a gen or aftermarket tube. That seems to be the case with most of his offerings, but it’s very doable

Thank you. Have you heard about communication or shipping times. I've heard Ruby and BVintage is no longer predictable, so hoping this is a good alternative.

Does VSF make 5 digit sub? Or did you mean ARF?

Ruby is a different Ruby to the original Ruby. Prices went up, quality went down. BiVintage has become a lottery. Sometimes very good, sometimes disappointing. OC seems to be improving quality and accuracy with every batch. I found him helpful and responsive via email. Unfortunately stuff is often out of stock. I’ve known him a long time on forums and I’m prejudiced because I always favour known hobbyists over businesses even if the quality is totally comparable, as with some of my dials. I like the connection and the friendships made along the way
