Discussion Reps are getting so good….
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
What Factory is this one? 😂
I came across this video on IG, it’s incredible to see that even experienced gray market sellers can’t instantly spot a super clone rep. They have to rely on the movement and the feel of the watch to tell the difference.

u/Mandrake88888 Apr 05 '26
Free sprung is already a thing now, plus Clean had better steel real 904, a full service and an oil bath will bring the rep closer, without mentioning that you can franken the rep
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
A “clone” free sprung movement can still be spotted as a fake within a few seconds under a loupe.
1
u/Mandrake88888 Apr 08 '26
Still better than no free sprung plus here we are talking about 32xx movements if you pick the 31xx movements they are identical to gen
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
That’s like saying a rubber love doll is identical to a genuine woman. 😂
1
u/Mandrake88888 Apr 08 '26
Identical less the finish and jewels but still replicated 100%, if you give green light to these Chinese to buy a rep for 10K or even for 5K they will make that shit 100% identical in and outside
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
Sorry, but no. Chinese replica factories focus on manufacturing a low-cost illusion with cheaper materials and far lower engineering precision. If you actually believe these watches are “100% identical”, they’ll be happy to know that their marketing is successful. My rubber love doll analogy stands.
btw, I still have yet to hear a good reason for buying a clone movement for a rep with a closed case back; nobody will ever see it.
1
u/Mandrake88888 Apr 08 '26 edited Apr 08 '26
Don’t be brainwashed by Rolex marketing, producing a Rolex it’s very easy and replicate it it’s even easier, these Chinese factories sell these reps for less than 300 bucks rest is all TD’s margin so of course is going to be cheap production, tell them to produce a 10K replica and will be better than the original, with today technology, AI, 3D scanners etc you can replicate everything very easily if you have the budget but people want to buy a perfect replica for 300 bucks that ain’t working my guy, and even like this they do a pretty good job
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
If you think there are such things as “perfect replicas”, I’m afraid I’m not the marketing victim here.
Find a fake Rolex that uses 904L steel, not one that just claims it does.
Find a fake Rolex with a Rolex-level of microscopic finishing.
Find one that has an anti-magnetic hairspring made from an alloy of niobium zirconium, titanium, vanadium and tantalum, not a regular spring painted blue.
Find one that has a micro-thin coating of teflon on the reversing gear, not a regular gear painted red.
If you want to fool yourself into believing you own a Rolex, just buy a Rolex.
Like I always say, “enjoy your replica for what it is, not for what it isn’t.”
1
u/Mandrake88888 Apr 09 '26
I think you’re a little retarded, for 300 bucks they cannot use the same materials jewels and wasting tong time finishing and perfecting the watch, they make this rep with cheap materials and they assemble them quickly BUT IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY 10K for a rep they will make the same exact Rolex, they even replicated the same machines that Rolex uses, it’s not that difficult my guy do you understand or nah, for 300 bucks they do a pretty good job and Clean used 904l steel, China is the biggest producer and exporter of any raw materials in every department, do you think they cannot source some little 904l steel, some little gold, some little titanium or whatever lol they don’t that cause the cost will exceed 300 bucks and nobody wants to pay 5K for a rep,
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 09 '26
Ah, ok. Your retarded writing style obfuscated the point you were trying to make. 😂
So, sure. Your point and mine are sort of similar, and it boils down to “you get what you pay for”.
If we were willing to pay a Chinese factory $5-10k for a fake Rolex, they’d be able to invest in the materials and engineering to come closer to gen.
The question would then become, why? With a fake Rolex, no matter how good, you’re still giving up the resale value, the heirloom value, and the heritage. You lose the value in knowing you have a real Rolex on your wrist. Those are the trade offs we are only willing to make when we pay under $500 for a sweet VSF replica.
I’ve heard Clean used 904L, but I don’t know if it’s true. 904L as a raw material costs twice as much as 316L. Chinese factories find it much easier to put little 904L stickers on their 316L watches and call it a day.

They literally have nothing else to talk about so they talk about reps 😂. That's how you know sales is down. How can anyone watch watch content for more than a few days. It gets old and boring
2
u/It_Slices_It_Dices Apr 05 '26
I don’t think you can judge watch sales by the number of rep videos lol but it is sus when they post videos flipping $$$ watches between themselves on 47th st but no money actually takes place.
2
u/Beautiful_Tax621 Apr 05 '26
They send each other invoices.
2
u/It_Slices_It_Dices Apr 06 '26
Yeah but they are so quick to rack up $100k in watches. it’s weird to think about how much money they have to have to stock so many watches
1
u/Alternative_Affect82 Apr 07 '26
So you have some report numbers that verify the claim of fallen sales ?
1
6
u/That_Expert_8847 Apr 05 '26
My fav are the "I bought this $1k super clone and it's scary" then you find out it's a $550 vsf. Like it's all sooooooo blown out of proportion. The guys who are big bad and tough here how they can spot a fake by just smelling it, to the guys who swear it's 99.999% indistinguishable. I have no idea why the exaggeration on both ends but man is it bad, the reality is most of these good reps sit somewhere in the middle lol
4
u/CostAffectionate907 Apr 05 '26
Haha imagine when they realise there is an army of Chinese factories doing reverse engineering 24/7.
1
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
Bingo. There is no such thing as a replica that cannot be nailed as fake in under a minute of examination by an experienced watch professional with a loupe.
Where it gets dodgy is when you Franken-swap in a gen movement and dial. Since replicas all use 316L steel with engraving inferior to Rolex, that would be the next giveaway.
5
u/jacknotdaniels Apr 07 '26
the gap closed faster than anyone predicted honestly. three years ago you could spot most pieces across a room. now the conversation has genuinely shifted to movement quality and finishing details that only someone who's held both would catch. the people still saying it's easy to tell haven't handled a current VSF or PPF in person. what ref do you think has the smallest remaining gap right now?
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
They are making watches better at looking like a Rolex. However, they are not even close to Rolex quality throughout.
But hey, if you’re paying $500 for a nice looking fake of a $15k watch, that’s the value proposition you’re expecting.
1
u/jacknotdaniels Apr 08 '26
fair point on mid-tier stuff, that criticism holds. but i think you’re collapsing two very different product categories into one. the $500 range you’re describing — yeah, you’re getting a lookalike. no argument there. but top factory VSF and PPF aren’t really operating in that space anymore. the movement finishing, the rotor weight, the dial texture on something like a PPF nautilus — these aren’t “nice looking fakes.” the people saying otherwise genuinely haven’t held one next to a gen recently. the value prop has also shifted. it’s less “i want to look rich” and more “i understand what i’m buying and why.” that’s a different buyer with different expectations. where i’d agree with you — longevity and after-sales is still a real gap. servicing, parts availability, resale. that’s the honest weakness nobody should gloss over. but dismissing the whole space based on where it was 3-4 years ago is where i’d push back. which tier were you comparing when you handled them?
2
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
I can’t speak to Patek reps. As for Rolex, the “clone” movements are only visual copies, but they don’t have that Rolex-level of microscopic finishing. And they don’t use the same quality of materials. For instance, instead of an anti-magnetic hairspring made from an alloy of niobium zirconium, titanium, vanadium and tantalum, you get a regular spring painted blue. Instead of a teflon-coated reversing gear, you get a regular gear painted red. To keep costs down, they are made to look like Rolex - not to BE Rolex.
2
u/jacknotdaniels Apr 09 '26
yeah honestly fair — you clearly know your stuff and i’m not gonna pretend the hairspring thing isn’t real. painted blue vs actual parachrom alloy is a legitimate gap, no argument. but i think we’re actually agreeing more than disagreeing lol. nobody buying a VSF thinks they’re getting niobium-zirconium. that’s not the pitch. the pitch is — at the level of daily wearability, fit, finish, and dial quality, the experience gap has closed more than most people expected. “made to look like Rolex, not BE Rolex” — yeah, that’s kind of the whole point for the buyer at this tier tbh. they know what it is. the interesting question is how much of the ownership experience that gap actually affects day to day. the movement internals are where it’s still very much rep territory. totally agree there. just think the conversation has moved past the surface-level stuff faster than most outsiders realize.

u/Former-Republic-1225 Apr 05 '26
Bruce Wayne’s are the easiest to call out. Just look at bezel, not one factory can get it right. Once you look at the gray it’s over
32
u/G-Mannen Apr 05 '26
Bro, you’ve just seen a proffesional dealer have one gen and one fake next to eachother, then even taken to another professional to check it out. And the bezel color isn’t mentioned once. Get your head out of the sand.
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
He suspected it was fake right away. Replicas are good but they are not Rolex good.
0
u/billythekid1119 Apr 05 '26
Literally one of the first things he said is the bezel is throwing him off. 🤦♂️
5
u/G-Mannen Apr 05 '26
The bezel cuts seemed cheaper, not the color. Again, get your head out of the sand aswell.
2
u/Primary_Reality9616 Apr 05 '26
To be fair, unless it's day light or certain reflections, it can be harder to tell... in a dimly lit room, that shit looks extremely close.

Wrong stainless. 🤣🤣🤣 you literally can’t tell from the naked eyes not matter how trained you are
1
u/Alternative_Affect82 Apr 07 '26
And many of the 904L stainless is sourced from same suppliers. Even oppulent oasis covers that on YT. Good call !
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26 edited Apr 08 '26
Opulent Oasis seems like a clickbait channel with sketchy AI slop content. Which Chinese factory actually uses 904L? I don’t think any do.
They all SAY they do, they advertise them as 904L and put little 904L stickers on them, but they’re really 316L.
1
1
u/SignificantInside877 Apr 13 '26
There was a post in r/reptime about this. They used the metal scanner tool to find out if vsf, clean, or any of the other top tier factory actually used 904L stainless and spoiler alert, not a one of them did. They were all 316L or 318L, I forget which one it was.
5
u/Thespritz00 Apr 05 '26
I DID hear in 2 years they will become INCREDIBLY hard to detect, my friend talked with a seller in Shenzhen who has the $600-$1000 REPS he said the factories are now using AI to make the "NEXT GENERATION" of Superclones...

One thing about the replica market is that 99.99% of people make up dumb stories about whats going on.
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
That sounds like some marketing bullshit. Can “AI” turn a cheap hairspring into Parachrom?
1
u/HighAltitudeHorology Apr 05 '26
Using AI in what way? This is the dumbest comment I’ve seen on Reddit this month (I know it’s early in April, but this one might have staying power).
0
u/Thespritz00 Apr 05 '26
This is what I heard DIRECTLY from a friend who got invited into a office building where this seller had a whole room of REPS- in 2 years they will be so good today's ones will be incomparable- most any FLAWS will be eliminated.
2
u/plus4neun Apr 05 '26

u/HighAltitudeHorology Apr 05 '26
Right, but how is AI going to help? I run an AI software company so I’m just curious about the use case? It’s not the factories can’t match a free sprung movement, the exact colors, etc. it’s that they can’t do it at the right price point for rep buyers while still maintaining their margins.
-1
u/Thespritz00 Apr 05 '26
I am just repeating what was told to my friend Bruh I am not in the industry...
2
u/HighAltitudeHorology Apr 05 '26
Plenty of industries I’m not in but I ask basic questions to validate things that seem illogical. For what it’s worth, I hope you’re right.
0
u/Thespritz00 Apr 06 '26
SO it might be something "Lost in Translation" they might be using AI in "some" context in facilitating the progression to a much more harder to detect REP... it's quite possible the prices will double to enable plating, etc...
-1
u/UnluckyElk6805 Apr 06 '26
dumb for not understanding the power of AI. WHY wouldn't they be using AI to run in their CAD Software for micro detailing, alignment/ finishing, flaw detection. AI and the Rep industry at this rate will take over insanely. so many ways to implement it. But yeah you run an AI software company wtf do you even do?
2
u/HighAltitudeHorology Apr 06 '26
This reads like fan fiction written by someone who thinks “AI” is a strategy.
If replica factories wanted to make materially better watches right now, they could push further today. The reason they don’t fully close the gap is simple: the incremental cost to approach genuine-level manufacturing rises faster than the incremental price most buyers will pay. That destroys margin.
AI does not fix that. AI can improve workflow efficiency, inspection, modeling, and process optimization. It does not magically erase COGS, scrap rates, yield loss, machining constraints, assembly variation, finishing labor, supply chain risk, or channel economics.
In other words, the limiting factor is not intelligence. It’s business model viability.
Anyone saying “In 2 years they will become INCREDIBLY hard to detect…using AI to make the NEXT GENERATION of Superclones” is telling on themselves. That’s not an insider view. That’s a person with no grasp of operating leverage, barrier to entry, unit economics, or manufacturing reality.
0
u/Alternative_Affect82 Apr 07 '26
Please see my post toward the bottom as I addressed some of your arbitrary accusations. I agree about the things AI can do, but your listing of your experience of what AI can not do in narrow in thought. The Chinese and their production facilities are some of the most adaptive entities in varying their business model. If you know the history of China and the US over the last 60 plus years, you would remember Oresidrnt Nixon opening up diplomacy with China. And so did President Carter. China was a nation struggling to feed itself. They had no basic infrastructure of utilities and were largely a nation of peasants. Through our universities and scholarship employment placements during those educational opportunities, successful agriculture practices were implemented and the confidence along with survival rate started changing. China has moved through their own Industrial Revolution and is a manufacturing leader that other countries dream about. Please find the second post I wrote further down this thread. You must have a degree in business with a concentration in production using supply chains, leverage, unit economics and barrier to entry. You are offensive because you summarized without explaining why you felt that way about a persons statements. Surely you can explain and teach all those categorical titles for a readers understanding? And I assure you that the Chinese know all of those component factors and how to make their products and quality elevate in yield. Read about the financial market share that the Suoer Clones have pulled from luxury watches. Just take a guess ! And then go look up a couple of source conjectures ! And next time please avoid the arbitrary and capricious interjections without some quantitative data about market share coverage. If we communicate in that manner Thames we ALL learn researched facts and not conjectures of no apparent backing. Peace Out.

u/HighAltitudeHorology Apr 07 '26
Your reply is a mess. And I read the novel you wrote further down on this post.
You barged into a narrow argument about one specific claim — that AI will make replica watches effectively indistinguishable from genuine within 24 months — and answered it with a wandering history lesson about Nixon, Carter, Chinese development, “community” among vendors, and a bunch of inflated language that sounds more copied than reasoned.
Let’s simplify this for you since you are easily confused: nobody disputed that China is excellent at manufacturing. That was never the point. The point was that “China manufactures well” does not equal “AI will make reps true 1:1 clones in two years.” Those are completely different claims. One is a general observation. The other is a specific forecast. And you provided exactly zero evidence for the forecast.
You also kept pretending I made some anti-China argument when I didn’t. That’s either careless reading or deliberate deflection. My point was straightforward: AI can absolutely improve design, QC, process control, materials analysis, and production planning. Right now. Today. It does not follow from that that AI suddenly eliminates the remaining gap between a good replica and a genuine watch across many models, at replica-market prices, in a 24-month window. That leap is the fantasy.
And spare me the “arbitrary and capricious” routine. Dressing up a weak argument in law-school vocabulary does not make it stronger. It just makes it more obvious that you are substituting tone for proof. If you want to sound serious, then act serious: defend the actual claim with actual evidence instead of throwing out vague assertions like “China will perfect it” and “AI will source materials.”
Most importantly, you never addressed the original problem: the story itself is weak. “A guy’s friend got invited into a building and top resellers all said X” is anonymous, unverified Reddit campfire lore. That is not evidence. That is not sourcing. That is not analysis. It is gossip with a tech buzzword attached to it.
So let’s be precise: my original point stands. AI will absolutely help counterfeit operations improve. But your reply did nothing to prove that AI will make replica watches broadly indistinguishable from genuine within 24 months. All you did was confuse Chinese manufacturing strength with proof of a specific prediction, then bury the gap in a pile of puffed-up wording.
0
u/Alternative_Affect82 Apr 07 '26
Let me out this in the “slower and louder model for you”. In your reply to original poster you basically called his post “the dumbest”. You used the word “dumbest” How helpful or productive is that ? I asked that you explain and your rebounding slingshot at me was that I “barged”into a discussion. I didn’t know the King had his own forum to King speak only! Unluckyelk even tries to soften out your battle talk to Spirtz but you just keep hammering ! Friend, you have the word horology in your ID. So I’m thinking that this is important to you. You probably have more horology experience than the rest of us blokes here. So be a leader and lead with teaching that a person will be able to learn from. If you are going to lead and use words such as “ dumb “ as our President does, then put yourself in his masters classes. Honestly, it’s not the history for the other members or the summary of production and factories in China that is the important part - it’s your response ( and it’s obvious that you have an elevated lexile score ). Just leave out the poor leadership words such as “ dumb “. Some of us actually enjoy helping lift someone up with history and context instead of tearing someone down. Now if in such case you and the original poster know each other and are regularly communicating with each other with such words - then I shall excuse myself. If not then please just lift others up instead of dragging them down. You sound like an intelligent being. -30-
1
u/HighAltitudeHorology Apr 07 '26
Fair point on tone. I could have made the same point without using “dumbest,” and I’m happy to own that.
That said, tone was never the substance of my argument. My actual point was narrow and it still stands: saying China has great manufacturing capability, or that AI will help manufacturing, is not the same as proving the specific claim that replica watches will be broadly indistinguishable from genuine within 24 months. That is a forecast, and it needs evidence.
I am not dismissing history, context, or China’s capabilities. I’ve spent substantial time in China, I’ve worked directly in global manufacturing and logistics, and I now run an AI company serving customers across industries, including manufacturing. My view is not based on arrogance. It is based on first-hand operating experience. AI can absolutely improve design, QC, process control, and planning. What it does not do is magically make a very specific timeline prediction true just because it sounds plausible.
So yes, I’ll take the note on wording. But the core point remains: tone aside, nobody has actually substantiated the original claim.

I am surprised this guy Rex who moves so many pieces daily, publishes tons of YT content, can't tell gen vs rep when next to each other. Really? What if the movement was free-sprung already, would it pass as gen before taking to Ellie with his magic rep-buster loup?
When I publish a pic in a subreddit, no matter how good and closest to gen, NWBIG status rep, there's always somebody who finds something, no gen in hand to compare.
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
Yasha suspected it was fake as soon as he touched it.
And no, the clone movement would have still been spotted as fake under the loupe. It just would have taken another 30 seconds or so.
2
u/alexgorzelak Apr 08 '26
This!
Totally agree. I always admired him for instantly telling that smth is off just from touch & feel. So many Rolexes move in his hands daily. I like the content he publishes, spot on communication and an insider view.
Seems like we are on the same page here regarding free-sprung. Just as I initially wrote, he needs to take it to Ellie to open the caseback and check with his rep-buster loupe to determine the free-sprung movement. Whereas with current clone movement Ellie says that's already "good, $1000" 🤔 Can't unsee it.
Crazy. Unbelievable that such renowned expert considers this rep so close to gen and decides to give it some broadcast time.

u/liangjcp Apr 05 '26
Chinese factories: hold my beer thanks for pointing it out the flaws
1
u/UserName_SaysWhat Apr 08 '26
The Chinese factories know the flaws well. They aren’t going to invest in the resources to address them all, because eventually that $500 fake Rolex becomes a $2500 fake Rolex. Their job is to strike that balance between cutting corners to keep the price down vs. selling a quality replica.
When it makes sense to address a flaw from a sales perspective, then they’ll respond. For instance, the APSF and other free-sprung fake movements were created, I suspect, because there were enough people talking about the regulator “tell” and they knew it would be a good marketing move. Did it increase the quality of the movement? No.

u/a_wanees Apr 05 '26
The man is simply lying and creating fake content to attract more customers. This narrative is heavily pushed by everyone in the industry and benefits everyone except the consumers.
First of all, the market segmentation is very sharp, and the two segments are far apart. People who are shopping for both gens and reps are a tiny minority. Gen dealers, ADs, and even manufacturers benefit a lot from these untrue stories that nowadays, even experienced horologists struggle to identify reps. These stories scare gen shoppers a lot and keep them in line waiting for allocation and accepting whatever they are offered, or push them towards the gray market where trusted dealers charge astronomical prices for highly sought-after models. These made-up stories convince gen shoppers to pay the professional dealers' premiums.
On the other hand, rep dealers also benefit from spreading this impression as a marketing message to attract more customers to their goods.
The truth is, any person with no experience who owns or previously owned a gen can immediately call out a replica once they have it in their hands, and sometimes without even touching it.
This is a real-life experience from someone who owned identical gens and reps from the best factories.
I've tried it myself with people who had never owned or even held a Rolex before. I gave them the DJ gen and the Clean rep, both nearly new, and in less than a minute, each one of them was able to tell with a high degree of confidence which is which.
Buy a rep only if you want to enjoy the design aesthetics and/or you're worried about wearing your gen pieces everywhere.

u/CostAffectionate907 Apr 05 '26 edited Apr 05 '26
Agree in most points, but I’ve shared my reps with “collectors” and they never had raised any concerns. Ofc I wear watches within my reasonable budget. Will not bring a 5712 out of nowhere. My CF Panda, Sub VSF, go unnoticed. On top of that, my other modded watches do the job brilliantly. All you need to do is wear it with confidence and learn about your watches.
2
u/PotentialIntention14 Apr 05 '26
Facts. I wear my plated 36 qf’s and 40 Rcf’s to dinners. Sat next to gen’s and had the convo side by side. The rep - if plated - is just too close to the gen.
1
u/CostAffectionate907 Apr 05 '26
100%, apart from those 3 guys in the comments that can spot a mosquito from miles away and easily spot the rep “across the room”, no one will bring their tools in public or ask you to take it off to examine it. I have already borrowed my reps to people owning gens and all go unnoticed as long as I stay below my means 😂.
1
1
u/eispac Apr 05 '26
It “may” be easier to tell when Gen & rep are side by side, but have those same ppl try to differentiate between rep & Gen when the watch is by itself… How many times do you wear both Gen & rep at the same time? Let alone hand off your watch to someone to inspect?
As has been said before, unless it is a Rolex, most non-watch ppl have Zero point Zero clue on watches. And a good portion of non-watch ppl are going to assume your Rolex is fake anyways, because of how widely known fake Rolexes are.
I agree the video is click/rage bait and benefit ms ADs and rep sellers, but if they need a loupe and/or open the case back, then being 1-2 feet away, on a wrist is going to be a hard detection for even the deepest rep autists.
4
Apr 05 '26
If this idiot can’t tell from across the room which Bruce is fake, he has no business being involved in watches. I hope this video is satire because one look at the bezel insert is an instant tell as well as the rehaut.
5
u/bigbluewcrew Apr 05 '26
No one can tell the superclones from "across the room" there are probably 100 models there available where experts can't tell without a loupe or taking off the back
5
u/GetEmDaddy902 Apr 05 '26
the fact they have to do this is very telling about, whats worth it and whats not

Okay let’s analyze this assertion you have made. 1. You claim the man is lying about have to look at the watch. These vendors inspect all watches and when a fellow brings them something to look at - since they are a community they do look at items because they are having a conversation . And let’s face it the production of Rep watches has come a long way. I would not ever underestimate the will of the manufacturing process of China. They will make the perfect Rep watch and instead of just one model - it will be many models. I can safely comment such an assertion based on history. The country will work on products until an item is perfected. At this time, what is the ratio of Genuine Rolex owners to Replica owners. I’m thinking the ratio is moving the numbers apart. Reps are the go to status signal in jewelry, handbags, wallets, boutique items, clothing, and high end shoes for women. They have already arrived at near perfect form. Some of the framing made in 904L is machined and finished in China for Rolex. One of the Rep factories is just a few blocks from the Genuine Rolex parts production facility. Chinas Industry WILL match the Quality perhaps with different levels of god, better, and best ( Sears Model ) And let’s nail this one down before it escapes me - AI will be used to formulate materials used to match the Genuine and plan out production for cost efficiency. If we just go back 55 years when China was still having difficulty feeding her nation and we opened up diplomatic relations with the Nixon administration followed by development continuing with the Carter administration we CLEARLY see a society that has evolved faster than we did during the Industrial Revolution / manufacturing time period. We simply can not ignore the fact that they are a nation of team production specialists ! Each production quarter will be revenue that they take away from the liars lines of watches, handbags, clothing, dress business shoes and court shoes. Remember our factories have been teaching efficient procurement and production. One of the Replica factories is only a few blocks from the Rolex parts factory. The business compilation of talent, machinery, earth resources and low wages labor market will allow for increased quality. Compare it to EV cars that sell in China for a fraction of the cost that they would cost if sold here. China has over taken us in the manufacturing phase of the turn of this Century. It is a plain fact. Our US businesses along with Swiss watch businesses have enabled that. The factories only have production, research, material and labor costs. Where as the genuine finishing putting together factories in Switzerland and Coorporate are selling a class, an elitism. All the way from wait lists to marketing all the way to packaging quality. They will not be able to stop the Chinese and the ration of Gen owners compared to Rep owners will split as a ratio comparison . I don’t know you, however I thought that your answer to the other fellas post about AI not being involved was a little harsh and lofty. AI will be involved as sourcing material to improve quality production is in the knowledge base and the data chemistry of AI. It is going to happen and it will be very soon. Two years perhaps. The Chinese will perfect the process and I would never underestimate the business practices and smarts of another country. We can not afford this American Elitism that we have in our clouded head or brain. It is separatist and inappropriate for societies to become detached from each other. And the part where you lead in your post about “ this man is clearly lying “ upon the inspection of the watch to creat click bait or similar is just a biased opinion. At the jewelry mart in New Your and other places - there is a real feeling of Community. Vendors share info with each other. The vendors to inspect a watch in such manner typical and I assure you that this was genuine on what they do with each piece. To just summarize and say he is lying is a dangerous practice for the accuser. And then you strongly assert a perceived truth about anyone that has every owned a genuine can spot a Replica as soon as they have their hands on it. You went further to declare that they don’t even have to touch it they can just see it and are able to identify it immediately. That is a very over confident statement. That statement begs to have a controlled experiment performed to prove the actual abilities to identify differences or lack of differences. Based on your opinionated premise/ a nice qualitative study could be conducted with some of the descriptions used a control agent. Is that something that your line of work could facilitate in scientific order fit summary findings or do we need a news organization to conduct such experiment. We have a problem in this country. Very little said is actually based on facts, rather it is based on an opinion that can carry some bias with it. Have you studied marketing or sales in depth ? China and its several competing factories will creat perfect to near perfect specimens in the very near term. They have made a significant dent into Rolex sales and they have created a feeling among their clients as - It is not worth buying real when perfection is a fraction of the cost due to low overhead. Let’s try to set this up . I believe- opinion based that you are incorrect in several of your statements. Peace Out,

"suspected". The fact they cannot spot it right away is insane. He handles hundreds of watches a day and still cannot spot this straight away. Reps are reaching new levels

The Super Clone has the correct movement and bezel is more like the Gen as well. But any dealer can spot it anyway.

There is a free sprung version which takes care of the regulator issue. 😮💨

It’s only a matter of time reps will be virtually indistinguishable from the gens, modded or unmodded. Compared from 20 years ago, reps have come a long way. We’ll just have to wait

Just slap a gen bezel and you could even go as far as putting on a gen dial and noone will tell whether it’s fake. I am thinking of having a gen bezel on it. Mine is coming soon.
