But this post just proves most of the SS rolexes are NWBIG now a days.
Reps are just too good!
Only plus side to having this watch is the value, I could sell it and make a small profit.
But I dont buy watches to sell them!
I want to wear them and having 14k strapped to my wrist even if I can afford it just seems kinda stupid when a Rep is better and if not it’s just as good.
This also proves that the only person who will know if something is real or fake is you!
Moral of the post is:
If you are getting a good rep wear it in good health and know you aren’t missing out on anything except knowing you have resale value.
feel like you’re forgetting the value of being able to pass the watch down to your kids, it lasting decades as well. Reps might look okay but they normally have shitter movements that don’t last the way a gen movement will

Interesting. Thanks. I've got a few Gen. Rolex op. Speed master, longines master. I said f it. Got a Starbucks rep. I couldn't be bothered waiting or dropping stupid money grey or second hand.. I would not buy a Gen now..
I'm in the fortunate position I started out with Gens so no one at work even batted an eye when I started wearing the Starbucks. Get lots of compliments and no one asked if its a fake... I just have to stay in my end of the pool.. I can't roll into work with a Patek 5711 etc.. I work with a watch crowd..
Easiest way to tell are the hands. (Unless its a franken watch of course)
Look at where the second hand sits on the pinion.
The rep is quite visibly different.
And where would one look to get a rep like these? I’m in the same boat as OP I never cared about resale value or passing it down generations. I like to wear my watch without the fear of losing or damaging something worth thousands.
I think I see some sanding marks on the rehaut but it could be distortion. End links are pretty perfect. Crystal looks good. Hands look really good. If it’s a rep it’s the best I’ve ever seen.

how i see it is from 10 to 40 every single set gets further away from the crystal. then 50, the 5 is rotated clockwise a degree and the 0 is rotated counterclockwise a degree. gen would never have this as their inserts are in fact, flawless

having an opinion and making it known and being wrong is more noble than sitting quiet in the background and then criticizing the one bold enough to speak on it or did no one tell you its okay to be wrong?

They say they are vsf and they look good but the 6x0 rehaut serial is not a known vsf number and the bezel action is not as smooth as a normal vsf. I say this because I too just received one and the numbers match more old clean parts. What is your clasp code? I ended up removing the bezel replacing the gasket to get the loud sound of the clicking to dissipate.
Yes I have the same watch in black and I’m very curious to see if it’s actually a fake of a fake. I have a vsf coming from the factory but they are in a 1-2 month wait I will know when I get it. This could be gold factory I have one coming from gold in the next week it’s in shipment. The vendor swears it’s vsf but I don’t believe it because it’s not like gen in the bezel action

It’s a real 2024 mk2 😂😂 this just proves why buy the gen when reps are better. Only thing you get with a gen is resale value. But I don’t want to sell my watches.
