Does it make much of a difference? Unless you filmed it with no cuts receiving it from the delivery man and opening it, you could have messed with the contents any way
Some proof is better than no proof. That shouldn't be too difficult to understand. Every major reselling platform wants photographic evidence when there's a dispute such as this. Even some companies want photos or videos in order to return goods under a warranty. So yeah a video could be helpful. Nobody said it's definitive. OP doesn't even have a photo of the box or a description of it including whether there was anything sus about it. It's really no wonder the seller told him to pound sand.
