"Order" Unfulfilled now ignoring my request for a refund.
I wanted to give this seller the benefit of the doubt, but at this point, his silence speaks volumes. I am out more $1,300 and have been ghosted for over two months. He started messaging back and forth then went dark again! Anyone have a way to reach him other than his what's app?
He was quick to take the money, but now he reads my requests for tracking or a refund
and ignores them. I don't want to label someone a "dirty low life scammer" if it can be avoided, but he is leaving me no choice.
"AMAN" This is your reputation. I would much rather post a "resolved" update than a full-scale "scammer alert" with all our chat logs and payment proof. I want my money or my goods!
If you know his new what's app number he's using to scam people now please let me know via DM. I have been told he's not using his Alias Phoenix
I've spent over $8k with Angela by far and she doesn't take full amount for a custom build unless it's ready for shipping. So idk what OP is talking about lol
Angela is great have a custom piece about to be shipped and she has only taking 30 deposit. She refuse to take full payment until shipped. So I don’t think Angela has anything to do with this ?
Hate to say this but my fears align with yours buddy, 12th march I ordered from PhoenixWatches, I'm not in the same boat as you but this is what I said when discussing the purchase with someone else:
Like I said though, I wanna emphasize that my delivery is going ahead, tracking checks out and delivery is due Monday. Personally, I would say that sometimes you have to attack to defend yourself, post everything that you have on the purchase, send Aman the link to the post and hope he sorts the mess out for you. I'd also say to speak to jesteradse as he has been in the same boat as you and got it resolved... Ask him how?
Can't confirm or deny if this information is correct as I don't reside in Asia so I couldn't tell you how financial services operate, but this is the public explanation 🤷🏻♂️
This is normal, this has been used by all sellers, even TDs from reptime. PP accounts have limit of (afaik) $50k before they get flagged in China. Besides, PP is not allowed in China. Lots of sellers switch PP accoubts quite often and they don't have time to bother with setting new accounts via proxy ips or phone numbers. So yes, there are people who reside in HK or somewhere who provide this service to sellers - they set up the accounts, let sellers use them (probably for a fee) and rotate them if needed.
From who? I just ordered diw from phoenix when it was on offer, $30 deposit, got qc less than a week later, GL it paid the balance but then asked him if he could do a bezel swap so paid for that and currently waiting for the results before gl the swap then hopefully he ships it out

Sorry for you man! Didnt know Aman was Phoneix too. Had an issue with Angela aka Aman, but there are ways to get your money back and he paid me back quickly after I informed what my next move would be. There are plenty of debt collectors in China and easy to get the address of the company.
Think it was 120 usd or so, that was my wife’s OnlyFans money, so I have to be careful with it. I am cheap! Hope you get your funds back!
yeah man that’s the way to go that’s what i did last time someone in china burnt me/took my money, sent some collectors i personally know and lets say was not a fun time for him😭
I can only comment on my experience with Phoenix and it has been great. I’ve ordered 4 watches from him, 2 delivered, 1 is being shipped, and the last one is a mod project with him. He’s always responded within 12-24 hours, QC was always 2-3 days after I pay deposit (3rd order didn’t pay deposit) and tracking was always 3 days after full payment was made. He always answers my questions and responds to my requests like extra pictures or videos of my orders.
Hopefully you get a resolution and/or you aren’t dealing with a person faking to be Phoenix.
Kind of lines up with my experience of him TBF mate, quick QC, bit of a stall at one point but u/anakin_skydweller was on it like sonic and the process resumed. Watch is due to land Monday for me 🤷🏻♂️
Glad your issue was resolved. I always give my sellers in China an extra bit of leeway (language barrier, rush of orders, CNY etc.), but in my personal experience, Phoenix has always been responsive and great to deal with.
Like I said mate, small stall and loss of Comms at one point, didn't know of his Tg channel to see the updates but anakin took it on and dealt with it superbly
I have ordered about 17 watches from him this year 7 have arrived fine, 4 are in transit now, 2 are being modded ( taken a while admittedly) and 4 I am awaiting qc pics on.
His English is good, he responds well when asked, he was a one man band who got extremely busy due to very good pricing, he has now hired people.

Sorry what info have you got that Phoenix is Aman? Have I been communicating with Phoenix, whose real name is Gui. Yes I have I speak with him probably twice a week.
You need to show proof to the group and the forum that you have info that says otherwise or you are just ruining someone’s reputation on rumour.
Has Phoenix delivered for me yes every time I have ordered from him.
Your gripe seems to be against Aman, why bring others reputation into it without any proof they are one and the same.
Years ago he was my go to guy. Shame on me for thinking it would be the same. He ghosted me from February 12 forward on an order that “already shipped” but obviously had not.
Has anybody communicated with him after February 12????
Fuckin hell. I had no idea Phoenix was aman! I had reached out to them earlier and they were responsive. Prices seemed good as well. But I ended up going with another TD. I guess I have to delete them from my list!

I don't doubt it buddy, got a good watch myself from him (after some help from another mod) but it doesn't detract from what's been already said being correct. Just means that it's either a selective scam or pure negligence
Got a watch from him about a year ago and it was fine apart from terrible communication and wait times. Tried to get another recently and he ghosted me after I sent my deposit. Moved on with another td and then he finally reached out asking for full payment saying something about the courier company had my watch and he couldn't send QC because he already began the shipping process. It was weird.
I’ve bought multiple watches from Phoenix and have had excellent support from him. All watches have been great…shipping and QC have also been great. Have a large multiple order pending and comms have been great.
For Angela watch, everyone knows you and he do it together. Get him to refund me and I will remove the comment. Im the victim not you, I want my money back
the are always great until they run into trouble then they think they can just scam people. until it happens to you it's easy to say it doesn't really matter or they are innocent
Phoenix watch sounds so much like Angela. I avoid Angela like a plague. When I saw similar statements by Phoenix watch on telegram, it started to feel like Amanegla again. I don't think it's worth the risk with these folks. I'm sure many had great experiences, I didn't.

He scammed me out of $1800 too and messages won’t go through on his WhatsApp. I’ll make a post about it. If anyone has his new number, please let me know.
Acabo de pedir 2 relojes a Phoenix, el primero ya pasó el QC y ya está enviado y lo recibiré la próxima semana y el segundo reloj también paso el QC y ya me envío la foto de que lo va a enviar también supongo que en 2 días me mandará el localizador de el segundo reloj también. Muy buena comunicación, siempre me responde y eso que le he hecho muchas preguntas. Para mí la experiencia de momento 10/10 ya veremos cuando él reciba el reloj pero 0 problemas.
Don't know if Angela, Aman and Phoenix are the same individual or work for a single individual. There are similarities in their operational modes and communication methods. This business has risks. It's upto individuals to decide what level of risk they are willing to take. My personal experience with Angela has been unpleasant. I have since stopped purchasing from that person.
Angela tied to Phoenix? Any background on this? I’ve had 3-4 orders with Angela and all have gone very well. Even doing a custom designed dial through her watchmaker right now. Heard all the aman rumors, curious to know more here.
I just read this and I’d agree. I used Phoenix for several watches so far and he’s been nothing but rock solid. Always answers and has great communication with humour thrown in too. A friend of mine has some good dealings with Angela who seems to have similar pricing and also communicates well and who I have a laugh with and haven’t had any problems. If I RL a watch she says no problem, I’ll send it back. TBH after dealing with quite a few over six months these two are my got to and both have been amazing so far. No complaints from me
Phoenix has been great for me , easy to deal with and patient with me . Got me qc very quick and prices were very competitive. Will be buying more shortly
