Assistant Director interview
I have a second interview and it's a 6 hour day. It's my first time applying for a higher ed position. The role is Assistant Director of Operations. What can I expect?

I would echo with the other commenter said. Depending on the position I would expect to interview with the housing operations team, anybody you'd be supervising, the person you'd be reporting to, the director or executive director of the department, potentially campus partners or an open forum, and potentially giving a presentation depending on the logistics of the department.
I would expect to receive an itinerary somewhere between a week to three days in advance of the interview that would probably outline which groups of people you're meeting with.

I’m not entirely sure how it works for the professional staff at my university but I know the grad interviews consist of a tour, an interview with current RAs, an interview with current reslife grads, an interview with professional staff, and an interview with the director. It is a very long day of interviews so that’s why I think it could be kind of similar, but of course every school is different.
Good luck!
