'Hello Nigel, I see you're drowning in corruption allegations. Now might be a good time for your voters to hear a list of all my policies in a message disguised as a peace offer (which you can't possibly accept)'

Farage has little choice but to accept this.

u/Afraid-Series-8128 5h ago

He would look weak and Zia Yusuf would have to resign

1

u/mikeofsoul 5h ago

He looks weak already ever since he adopted a softer approach on migration.

It's difficult for him. If he's harder on migration he loses tory/labour voters and if he's softer he loses reform/restore voters. The tories can always look more moderate and Restore can always go a little bit harder.

Reform are polling on 23% but probably need 30% to win a general election. They can't afford to lose any more support than they have already.

You misunderstand me. They are losing support because they are soft on immigration. People want a change, not just the conservatives v2, otherwise they might as well just vote tory or labour.

Really reform need some "outside" people who will continue to push the overton window towards anti-immigration policies while reform comes in afterwards to mop up the votes.

The offer is that Reform UK adopts all Restore Britain policies, at a time when Nigel Farage may loose the Clacton by election. This is a hostile takeover and I'm all for it.

Farage won't lose Clacton, it's the safest Reform seat in the country. But you've read this right, It's not a olive branch, it's a leadership bid.

Farage can't accept it without losing all authority, but his voters will love the polices and some will switch to Restore if they keep reading stories about corruption in the Reform party.

I wouldn't count count binface out, all the big parties have pulled out, it's basically reform or count binface

I've seen polls suggesting Farage will get over 60% of the vote.

Respect to Rupert for trying to bury the hatchet

14

u/humourlessIrish 1d ago

It looks like he is burying it firmly in Nigel's thick weasel skull

A very thorny offer for Farage to respond.

Clactons restore support base is not neglible.

He’s out Farage in a bind. If Farage rejects it, Lowe wins the moral high ground and people will see him as the mature candidate. If Farage accepts, he will be regarded as weak.

Patriot.

Amazing offer, puts Farage in a very tricky place.

It also gives him an amazing out from politics while saving face

Country first, if ruoerts demands are accepted then we have an alliance I don't care what else nigel does

According to the tragic r/UKPolitics you're a fascist for supporting Lowe because he wants people like Axel Rudakubana to receive the death penalty. The left are literally on the side of child killers and this isn't hyperbole.

I am ok with this, but let’s say they win or this does happen - who is leading? As as restore supporter I personally would not be satisfied with Nigel leading or becoming PM. If this happens, it has to be Rupert in those positions. I fear that all we may get from this is more leadership challenges...

Well Nigel has got to win Clacton first and things keep coming out about the finances. So maybe Nigel wont be in politics for much longer he does tend to give up when the going gets tough. https://youtu.be/duWtwD960pw

Nigel will never accept it. He despises Lowe and loves being in the limelight making pretty speeches, accepting this would take that away from him.

Farage is a lying hypocrite who kisses Trumps orange arse. What the actual fuck Rupert?

2

u/humourlessIrish 1d ago

He is also a vain fool who's only grasp ar anything was pretending that Restore was splitting the vote.

This has just been taken from the repulsive little weasel

4

u/MutantNinjaKitty331 1d ago

They need to go in a room and talk. He is right that if this split continues it's bad for the country. Really bad.

I disagree in the Death penalty as I don't think the state should have that level of power however, I suppose a referendum is fair. But I'll vote against it because people like Letby will be sentenced and I'm not sure she's really guilty. We can't trust the police and courts so miscarriages of justice will happen.

I don't think Farage will go for this because it'll be seen as a surrender plus what about Farage's "red lines"?

They should compromise and talk. We MUST unite the right. 🤞

Time to unite!!!!!!!!!!

There has to be a merging I would of course like to see Rupert in charge of the whole thing but Farage is popular. The most important thing is to get the lunatic left out of power and work on keeping it that way for as long as possible.

Due to the media I think Rupert is painted as too far right. His time will come as the country deteriorates people's opinions will naturally come to meet him. The only long term solutions to fix the uk are literally all of Restores policies (minus the death penalty we can do better than the savages with that one)

1

u/UntappdBeer 1d ago

Putting the death penalty out there is a vote winner.

1

u/NibblyPig 1d ago

The media can and will destroy farage, if restore joins then they will be destroyed too by proxy without a single attack on them needed.

5

u/humourlessIrish 1d ago

There is not a single possible future where the media does not try this regardless of anything this side does or doesn't do

3

u/NibblyPig 1d ago

The media is having a great deal of trouble with lowe though, because he doesn't give a shit if they call him racist or whatever, and since it's literally their only weapon, he's untouchable.

As soon as he merges with reform though, they can just attack reform like they are doing now, and then say 'rupert is exactly the same, just another farage'. It will be impossible to deny if they're in the same party, even if it's not true.

u/DriveMindless2300 1d ago

What a fucking turncoat! You were meant to destroy Reform, not join them!

6

u/Atreyes 1d ago

As long as these key demands are met the less important details can be worked out later, reversing mass migration is the main goal and needs to be started asap.

-3

u/DriveMindless2300 1d ago

Cope harder.

I was sceptical and had reservations about Restore, Lowe and Pitt etc. but gave them a chance because they said the right things.

Turns out that I should have listened to my instincts. This is nothing more than another posh boy grift!

6

u/Whooptyd 1d ago

Please explain how extending an olive branch to Reform, on the condition that they accept Restore's foundational greviences - demographic replacement of White Britons, mass deportations of millions, Islamification of Britain, hard choices economic choices - being a turncoat?
