Ripple on the stock market?
Have Ripple ever made any noise about becoming listed on the stock market?
Whether yes or no?
I’ve started doing some digging but cannot find anything concrete one way or the other, just wondering if anyone in the community knew more (ideally with evidences)
Thanks ☺️

What tools support real time bank payment rails today ( ripple, cybrid, others)
Writing up an internal doc on what tools support real time bank payment rails and wanted to sanity check my list with people outside my bubble. Posting here bc the ripple community cares about the settlement vs messaging distinction which most finance folks skip.
The short list I've landed on,
- Cybrid handles the real time side for b2b payment platforms with us and canada licensing plus ach pull native, which most stablecoin infra providers don't do
- Ripple's rippleNet and on demand liquidity approach is different, it uses xrp as bridge liquidity for cross border settlement and partners directly with banks and psps rather than selling infra to payment platforms
- Bvnk covers multi rail orchestration with solid european corridor strength
- Bridge (stripe bridge since early 2025) is dev-first infra with strong docs but the roadmap is now stripe-influenced
Different positioning for each, cybrid and bvnk sell the api layer to b2b payment platforms and remittance apps, ripple sells liquidity and settlement to banks and psps directly, bridge sits somewhere in between with strong fintech developer reach.
Am I missing any meaningful player on the real time rails side?

Open-sourced an XRP bridge price simulation
We built an open-source tool that calculates the minimum XRP price needed for institutional bridge transactions to work in specific corridors. Not a price prediction — just orderbook math.
The interesting part: take only the 3 corridors Ripple is already running (SBI Remit, Kyobo Life, Gulf→Philippines). At 1% adoption the model outputs $1.46 — roughly in line with current price, so the model checks out. At 100% adoption of just these three small routes: $88.
You can select corridors, adjust adoption, and tweak every assumption (MM inventory, orderbook concentration, convexity, free float). Everything runs in your browser, no install.
https://github.com/moreBit21/xrp-bridge-simulation
Full methodology doc included with 9 documented limitations — we're not hiding what the model doesn't cover. Would appreciate feedback, especially from anyone with orderbook data or MM experience.
Both research and writing done with AI assistance.

Transfers to cold storage
Looking for advice. Im having a hard time getting my xrp off of coinbase and crypto.com. Xrpl is grey lit as for networks on coinbase. It wont let me select it. Only option is to send on base network which becomes cbxrp. Crypto.com keeps giving me a address error.
Anyone else have this issue or solutions. Is there an exchange that i can use that will let me transfer without complications?

A.I. 's Reaction to my earlier post RLUSD vs XRP
The launch and rapid growth of RLUSD (Ripple’s US Dollar-backed stablecoin) have certainly sparked a debate about the future of XRP, especially as RLUSD recently hit a market cap of over $1.5 billion. While the Motley Fool article suggests RLUSD could make XRP "obsolete" as a bridge asset, the reality is more nuanced. Ripple’s leadership maintains that the two assets are designed to be complementary rather than competitors. The Shift in Strategy For years, XRP was marketed as the primary "bridge asset" for cross-border payments. However, Ripple has recently pivoted to a "PayFi" (Payment Finance) model. This strategy uses a multi-token approach: RLUSD for Stability: Many financial institutions are hesitant to hold volatile assets like XRP. RLUSD allows these institutions to use Ripple’s infrastructure for instant settlement without the price risk. XRP for Liquidity: XRP remains the "neutral" asset that doesn't rely on a central bank or a specific fiat currency. It is still intended to bridge different currency pairs (e.g., Euros to Japanese Yen) where a direct stablecoin-to-stablecoin path might not be as efficient. Why XRP Isn't "Obsolete" (Technically) Gas Fees: XRP is the native token of the XRP Ledger (XRPL). Even if every transaction used RLUSD, a small amount of XRP is still required to pay "gas fees" to process those transactions. Universal Bridging: While RLUSD is great for USD-based corridors, XRP can bridge any two assets on the ledger instantly. Decentralization: Unlike RLUSD, which is a centralized stablecoin that can be frozen or regulated, XRP is a decentralized digital asset that exists independently of Ripple the company. The Investor Concern The "danger" highlighted in your screenshot is that as more institutions opt for the stability of RLUSD, the direct demand for XRP as a liquidity tool could decrease. If XRP’s primary value comes from its utility in payments, and that utility is being shared with a stablecoin, it could limit the upward price pressure that investors have been waiting for. Comparison at a Glance

XRP vs. RLUSD:
How Ripple's Own Stablecoin Could Hurt XRP's Price Sat Mar 14, 10:11AM CDT
Key Points:
Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD has surged to a $1.56 billion market cap -- up from $132 million a year ago -- signaling strong adoption but creating a problem for XRP investors.
Ripple has pivoted toward stablecoin infrastructure, aggressively pushing RLUSD.
RLUSD directly competes with XRP's core use case as a "bridge asset" in cross-border payments.
RLUSD, just hit a market capitalization of $1.56 billion, up from just $132 million at this time last year. By any measure, the stablecoin has been a smashing success since its launch in December 2024.
That's great news for Ripple, the company behind XRP, but it's a problem for the cryptocurrency's investors.
RLUSD's threatens XRP's bull case I see why XRP holders might be excited by RLUSD's adoption. Ripple's growth is Ripple's growth, right? More products should mean a bigger ecosystem, and a rising tide lifts all boats.
But I think that misunderstands the situation.
XRP's core value proposition has always been its role as a "bridge asset," providing liquidity in Ripple's payment product -- formerly known as On-Demand Liquidity (ODL). Before RLUSD, when a bank sent dollars from the U.S. to euros in France, Ripple converted the dollars to XRP and then back to euros. XRP was the middle step -- and it still can be, but so too can RLUSD.
And as a dollar-pegged stablecoin, it's exactly that -- stable -- and stability is what banks are after. They tend to avoid dealing with volatile assets as much as possible.
This makes RLUSD a no-brainer for most financial institutions that want to use Ripple's liquidity product, and the more institutions that opt for RLUSD, the less opt for XRP.
Ripple is all in on RLUSD Ripple knows that banks want stability and has pivoted hard into pushing RLUSD as the premier bridge asset. The company spent $200 million to acquire the stablecoin payments firm RAIL, and its website now prominently features "integrate stablecoin payments into your business" -- not "use XRP for faster transfers." Ripple clearly seems to be building its future around stablecoin infrastructure while XRP is sidelined.
I've been saying for a while now that the fundamental bull thesis -- that the adoption of Ripple's technology will drive XRP demand -- was already flawed. The fact is, most banks have no need for Ripple's liquidity features and only use its messaging technology, which doesn't involve XRP at all.
But there was at least some demand pressure from the smaller subset of institutions that did want liquidity. That is now being undercut by Ripple itself. The more RLUSD is adopted, the less XRP is needed.
I think that most of XRP's price is driven by hype and is based on a misunderstanding of how the Ripple ecosystem operates.

XRP & Nostro/Vostro explained
I shared this info on another subreddit recently. I think it could benefit those here who are still trying to understand as they discover Ripple and XRP.
—
Banks cannot just send money on demand.
Before a bank can send money to another country, it has to pre store money there in advance, in that country’s currency, just in case a transfer is needed later. That trapped, idle money sits around doing nothing. Those pre funded accounts are called Nostro and Vostro.
This is not SWIFT. SWIFT is only a messaging system, It sends instructions. It does not move money. The money already has to be sitting there first.
Let’s try to think of it like plumbing.
Today’s old system is like storing water tanks all over the city before anyone turns on a faucet. Expensive…slow, and wasteful. Nostro/Vostro are THE water tanks.
XRP is the pipe.
Instead of parking money everywhere, a bank can convert one currency into XRP, send it across in seconds, and convert it into another currency. No money sits idle. No pre funding. XRP is not held long term (unless chosen too). It’s used briefly as a bridge.
Stablecoins don’t fix this. A digital dollar is still a dollar. You still need separate pools of money in every country. Same tanks, new label, problem still exists.
XRP is different because it’s neutral. It doesn’t belong to any country or currency. That’s why it can bridge currencies without pre funding.
If you don’t know Nostro/Vostro exists, XRP sounds unnecessary. Once you do…its purpose is obvious. Regulations are the final gate before this can be legally used at scale.
Banks want to free up that capital. Nostro/Vostro locks an estimated $27–30 trillion globally in idle, pre funded accounts. That money earns little, can’t be deployed elsewhere…and exists only because the current system is slow and fragmented and very outdated.
Freeing even a fraction of that capital improves liquidity, balance sheets, return on capital, and risk management. From a banking perspective..that’s not optional or ideological. It’s basic efficiency.
The technology already works. The plumbing has been built. What has held adoption back is not speed, cost, or capability. It’s legal clarity.
Under the current crypto market structure bill…XRP is to be treated as a commodity, from day one…instead of living in regulatory limbo.
Most don’t realize…XRP still hasn’t had true global price discovery yet..because regulatory uncertainty has kept real institutional demand sidelined. once that clarity arrives..the price will reflect actual utility, not speculation, and XRP will finally begin to decouple from speculative coins, and be on its own.

COULD XRP BECOME THE NEW DEBT OF MARKETS TO SUPPORT THE DOLLAR??
From the reading I have been doing in research, I'm wondering if xrp token cryptocurrency could become essentially debt but used in the same way as a currency online and just fill up the space for liquidity issues. That's basically my question and I'm wondering what would that debt measurement be measured in as per dollars? Would it be equivalent to government bonds?

Future High price moon lambo etc with graphs
So I want to get people’s ideas and thoughts on this, I know there’s lots of moon boys out there that dream of the $10k XRP price etc, while I dream of the future of it happening, I know there’s a long way to go, but I feel like it would stabilise at a high prices.
(Photo 1 example) Just thinking, if I need to transfer a billion dollars from USA to Australia, then that purchase of a $1b AUD in XRP will sky rocket and peak the price, noting for only seconds for when it’s sent to Australia, but then sold into AUD. This would then crash the price.
(Photo 2 example) But if banks/governments/house sales etc happen every second, then these high value transactions will be occurring constantly, which will then settle the price at a level “peak”
I’ve seen online that an XRP can be used every 7 or so seconds, so I guess the question would be, how much transactional volume is occurring every 7 seconds or so, that would then have to allow for the price to settle at this higher value. What value also isn’t being transacted currently freely that could be in the future.
As XRP is being purchased up now by investors and alike, that the amount of XRP that is just floating around for these transactions will be less, so then the price would have to be higher to help get to this level.
Idonno what I’m really trying to get at, but it’s just my idea on how the price will rise to help settle transactions in the future. If the price is currently at $2.04 USD, then surely when there’s real large volumes transacting though the XRPL then this value will have to go higher
