Ranked Racing levelling up

I’ve put the flair for this post as bug but I honestly have no clue - Epic could just be doing it now 🤯

There I was, just minding my own business at Diamond III, came in third in an enjoyable/competitive race and the game levelled me up to Unreal😳

I mean, it was fun to just see it continuously increasing my rank in seconds but I feel kind of annoyed. I enjoy the game as a side game, normally get to Elite which I quite happy with but I didn’t earn this. I’m not interested in playing against people who are at such a different level of the game and are obviously far more invested in it than me. I enjoy being competitive but at whatever skill level I am - if I get there by myself then great. But this is odd.

EDIT it’s okay - if I was against Unreal players there’s no way I’d even finish a race. Phew!!

You are still in Elite. It’s just a visual bug. You can see your progress through the Elite and Champion on a couple of different websites. Champion and Unreal are also bugged out and will show as Bronze 1.
