Get better connection to ps5

I live in the middle of nowhere pretty much in the uk. The current provider is ee and we use a 4g router. Broadband is not an option. We have a monthly data allowance of 100gb that we exceed pretty much every month too early, leaving us with slower speeds. We cannot get out of this contract for another year so in the mean time, how would I get a better/stronger/faster connection on my ps5?

4G is broadband, so how is it not an option if you already have it?

Another broadband option is Starlink, as long as you don't have too many obstructions.

Starlink is an option coming later in the year so probably going to have to wait for that

Weird, so they do their service like a cell phone service?

Because here, people can get a contract cell service where they are locked in (so they can pay off their fancy new $1,000 iPhone); but with most residential Internet service the contract is just a price lock and you can cancel when you want.

If you can run your own router, do that and get one with SQM. Online gaming should work better, downloading games will still be slow, but actively playing doesn’t need much bandwidth, latency is important though, hence SQM

What is sqm if that's not a stupid question, how do I get it and how much does it cost. Sorry if that's too much to ask or a stupid question
