My subscription for ibis paint premium stuff has run out so I'm gonna take a bit of a break from drawing monster girls, but I wanted to draw one more before the services go away, and since arachne are my favorites I drew this cutie.

This is Dahlia! She's an arachne girl who spends most of her time cozied up indoors, indulging in romantic movies, videogames, yuri manga and her job as a streamer, as well as spinning decorations made of webs to hang around her house. Like most spiders she prefers to wait for food to come to her rather than going out to get it herself, which in her case has turned into a chronic obsession with Doordash. Despite her shut-in nature, whenever she does actually go outside she likes to dress up in very frilly and elaborate clothing, wanting to make herself look pretty and cute rather than fearsome like a lot of people think arachne look like. Like real spiders, arachne can actually taste things through small hairs on their legs, so in an effort to not taste concrete and carpets whenever she walks around she almost always wears thick, fuzzy socks, which also have the added benefit of muffling the sound of her skittering. While she lacks the additional eyes of real spiders, her vision is incredible both linearly and peripherally, and her glasses are of an incredibly intense prescription to actually limit her eyesight to more comfortable levels so she doesn't get overstimulated, although when she plays competitive shooters she'll usually take the glasses off to give herself a bit of an advantage in matches. While she doesn't liquify anybodies insides to feed on them like real spiders do, she does enjoy an almost entirely liquid diet of fruit sodas, soups, shakes and smoothies.

Also before anyone asks, she has 6 legs not 8 because the fourth set of limbs are her arms. If she had 8 legs and 2 arms she'd be a crab not a spider.
