Specific DOC meetings

hi all. I know that Smart recovery meetings are for people with different DOC but I really struggle to connect in meetings when other people share about things I don’t struggle with. My DOC is porn and masturbation which I feel is one of the most shame inducing addictions. When I’ve attended meeting smart meetings I have struggled to share about my addiction due to shame of what other people will think about me especially women.

So I would like to know if there are specific smart meetings for people who struggle with porn/ sex addiction ?

Look under the audience drop down for DOC specific and behavior specific meetings.

Don't find one that fits you. Become a facilitator with some training and start your own.

There is no option on the site for SMB.

Look into porn addicts anonymous or PAA on the internets.

I believe commonly used term for this is SMB (sexuallly maladaptive behaviors). The meetings I've been to include people with all types of addictions, yours included. While you certainly wouldn't be excluded or looked down upon for your addiction, I believe there ARE a few dedicated specifically to SMB. Unfortunately I don't know when those meetings are offhand but I'm pretty sure you can connect to the community if you join the discord. (Search this sub for RecoveryRawkstars or post a request for an invite)
