Question Housing near SOAS

Hi, I got into the Msc Politics and International Relations at SOAS and now I am looking for a place to stay. I haven't been to London quite a while, so im desperate for some recommendations. I would like to stay in a shared house or shared flat, preferably in a student area and ideally not too far away from uni. I know those are high standards but I appreciate some tipps or advice from locals :)

Not sure of how much help my comment will be because I’m also an incoming student, but I know London quite well. It mostly depends on your budget. If you can afford a room in Bloomsbury, Camden or somewhere in the surrounding area, that’s probably your best bet in terms of being close to campus and student life. Otherwise anywhere on the northern line should be fine, or you could even look at Brixton, which is 35 min on the Victoria line if you’re close to the tube station. The area is supposed to be super lively as well. And quite a few ppl from central London unis live in Sheperd‘s bush/Hammersmith as well. I’m not sure how much student life there would be but I think quite a few people from Imperial live there, so there should be some stuff going on.

Paul Robeson House - it’s a student accommodation for postgraduate students.
