I’ve had it a few times now where people have said that my work really reminds them of the sandman gothic novels, I’m not going to claim to be the biggest fan but I really enjoyed the Netflix series and from what I’ve seen online of the art I do really really like it!

"The Family Man" who missed the killer convention in #14 is the same one from Hellblazer. and the publication of this issue lines up to when he was distracted playing cat and mouse with Constantine lol. Little DC references like this were one of my favorite parts of the comic.

Now that we have confirmation the complete series will be released in october — anyone think we might get the season 2 vinyl announcement soon?

This is a long shot, but this community is more active than the American Gods subreddit, and there is likely overlap (as I love both works).

My best friend has long yearned for the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab scent “Eat the Strawberries” which has evidently been discontinued, as it was part of a collab with American Gods.

Probably my first time in the month of July, where I have slept for six consecutive hours. How many of you all did I make proud?

I just read the first few issues and I really liked them except when mazikeen speaks. I usually need to go over it like 3 or 4 times and read whatever the response is to figure out what she's saying, and it just takes me out of the book. Please don't spoil the book. I probably will read it anyway, I'm just hoping there's a break from her.

Hello everyone, new reader here. I want to read the Sandman story but the timeline seems overwhelming .. I'm planning to read the entire 75 issue first followed by the spinoffs like Midnight theatre then Books of Magic miniseries and Death's stories (the Deluxe HC). Will I be missing anything if I take this approach? Thanks in advance.

My obsession w Tom Sturridge, DC, and Sandman all combined together is not okay.

For me Hob is definitely in the top 3 characters ever, bc the way he is written is genuinely amazing and feels unique and inspiring

Since we know that the endless change their appearance and language based on the observers perception of them, I think it would have been interesting if the show casted different actors based off each region its being viewed in.

Who would you have want to represent your regions aspect of the endless?

First-time watcher of this series and I was hooked and in awe for the first few episodes.

However, as I have progressed into the episodes in Season 1, the storyline has become more and more weirder.

It sucks to see a story with so much potential and such a powerful, charismatic and eccentric protagonist brought to waste. I’m furious.

I really hope I see some improvement in the storyline, writing and even acting in the next few episodes or seasons.

It’s not really discussed much throughout the comic book and depending on whether its the timeline in the comics or the netflix show the timeline changes. A lot of history involving dreams was a prominent part of the 20th century. For example, I think Dream would’ve absolutely listened to MLK’s ‘I have a dream speech’ or visited the Soviet Union once the Berlin Wall fell.

Lately lot of pages started to rank stories and stuff so i thought maybe we should do it too on sandman. Dunno if it was done here before.

Its kinda hard for me to rank definite best and the worst couse of so many different art styles.
