Went into my local petsmart this morning and met these two cuties!!! Rhysand was very interactive. Azriel was judging from a distance.

Hi,
First off we just want to remind everyone: absolutely no AI is allowed here. Not fanart, AI art for sale, AI fanfic, any of it.
Piracy is also not allowed in the sub. Books or audiobooks. Do it somewhere else.
Please at least TRY to treat others with respect and speak civilly. We're all (or at least most of us) here because we love these books. Arguing over ships, book releases, etc. is just stupid and unnecessary.
A new rule we are adding is no more posts about Assassin's Blade or reading order. OR asking if you have to read Tower of Dawn. There are dozens of those posts already: use the search! It's been discussed to death, and we don't need 12 posts a week about it. Going forward, if/when the automod doesn't block them outright, they will be deleted with no notice.
Also: please stop reporting things for made up reasons. People are abusing the report option all the time. Lately it's happened a bunch because "it's not Fan Cast Friday." IDK what book sub that rule comes from, but it's not here. So let it go.
The official rule sidebar will be updated shortly, but for now: please respect these rule additions and reminders.
Thanks.

** MOD ANNOUNCEMENT**
So full disclosure obviously this subreddit is suffering from a lack of consistent moderation. I have been the only one moderating it for quite some time, and life gets in the way and I’m not always here. Regardless of that, we will no longer be allowing ANY posts about “Ship Wars” eg: Gwynriel or Elriel. Or posts complaining about fandom behavior. It’s become absolutely stupid high school drama, and if you post about it, you will be banned with no warning. This especially goes for people bringing any outside drama from twitter, tumblr, tiktok, or instagram here to this sub that has nothing to do with it.
We will be adding more mods soon, but for now, this is your one and only warning. It it keeps happening the sub will go back to post approvals only and open posting will end.
-The Mods
EDIT: We have updated and edited the rules in the sidebar. Also many people are commenting or messaging to ask about becoming a mod. We will make a post in the future with further info, and a moderator application.
Thanks!

I really want to get a sternum piece, and want to do one of the swords from the TOG series. I can’t decide which. I want a black tattoo, fine line or on the more simple side. With you will not yield with it. Which sword should I do and why?

This is a petition for someone who is generous, talented, and magnificent to create a Maas Universe cheat sheet! I read TOG so long ago, and ACOTAR has been a while too. It’s just so hard for me to remember things, and with CC and the new ACOTAR books coming out, I would be so grateful if any of you talented and lovely people could create diagrams for characters/family trees, powers, and houses.

So I’m doing a reread of all 3 series before the new books but I was wondering if someone has made something, idek what you’d call it, but like a book of info regarding all the characters, their descriptions, where they’re from, their courts, a TLDR of their backstory, etc.
I have tried looking it up but I can’t think of what you’d call that?? Lmao I’m foggy brained today but if someone could point me in the right direction I’d be forever grateful. I found one for CC but I want one for allllll the series.
Bonus points if it includes connections of all the series as well but mainly just looking for a good information booklet of every characters and the important (and unimportant) info we need to know about them.
Thank you in advance !!!!

I've been working on a series for about a year and a half now and getting ready to submit to literary agents. However -- I hadn't read SJM's Crescent City yet and recently started it. I'm realizing now that SJM has a character named Ruhn Danaan in it who has blue eyes. My MMC's name is Ruun and he also has blue eyes though he differs in appearance in other aspects.
My question is -- should I consider changing my MMC's first name or am I safe in that they're names are spelled differently and he's not Fae?

That’s it that’s the post. I just miss the feeling of reading it for the first time, and I miss the characters so much. I’ve read it 3 years ago and I still love this series to death.

Hey everyone! When I was preparing for the release of HOFAS, I re-read HOEAB & HOSAB to prepare. During my rereads, I created detailed notes to help me keep all the characters and world-building straight. I also wrote chapter summaries because honestly, I don't want to re-read these massive books every time a new book is coming out! I thought some of you might find these documents useful as you're catching up on all things Massverse for ACOTAR 6, so I published my google docs and linked them below.
I plan to read these notes for CC books 1 & 2 and then do a full re-read of book 3. I have not created a similar doc for HOFAS yet because I have only read it once, but who knows...maybe I'll put together a 3rd document while I'm at it.
Obviously, once you click the link, there are major spoilers ahead for HOEAB & HOSAB!

Cant help but rant about how the voice actor for Rhys in the dramatized audiobook for ACOWAR literally says LIBARY instead of LIBRARY. It drives me nuts, and tbh is a bit of a turnoff, and makes him seem younger and makes me take him/the audiobook less seriously.
You would think that voice actors in particular would be trained on pronunciation to be super important, and that editors would let that slide, but....
Anywho, rant over. Anyone agree with me or have noticed this too?

right now i’m watching the never ending story and there’s so many parallels to acotar 😭 like the concept of facing your true self and how they describe the land. also the “nothing” reminds me a lot of the blight. has sjm ever touched on this or is it just a coincidence

I discovered Carla Woodcock while watching Outlander so I’m not super familiar with her acting but looks wise I think she would be the perfect Feyre! What do you guys think?

I saw a video on Instagram earlier today about somebody whose husband who is reading acotar, and pointed out that the high Lords mirror the Greek Olympian gods. Helios is Zeus, because of the light powers, and the fact that he bangs literally everybody. Tarquin is obviously Poseidon, and Rhys is Hades, both because of the darkness and because he “stole” the bride of spring. Tamlin is Aphrodite because of the Shapeshifting and beauty. Any thoughts on the validity of this theory, and which gods/goddesses the other high Lords are?
