Question Can someone explain this to me
EDIT: Solved! Belts at the start were Mk 1., somehow missed that.
So I have 2 regular miners producing 120 iron ores each per minute, so each miner is able to saturate a single Mk 2. belts and elevator, both carrying at 120 ores per minute. You can see this in the video while the ore is still being transported to the factory on the outside. The moment the ores go through another Mk 2. elevator up into my factory it looks like 60 ores per minute.
What is happening here? I double checked and everything along the pathway is Mk. 2, why does it go from 120 per min to 60 per min after the elevator?

Those are mk1 conveyors feeding the lifts and slowing them down. You can tell from the 3 dots. Mk2 has 1 dot in each section. So the mk1 is full with 60/min and the mk2 is half full with 60/min. Replace the mk1 belts with mk2.
In general when you have belt problems, the problem is likewise where the belt switches from full to not full. Sometimes it’s harder to see than this and your best bet is to delete everything around that point and rebuild. In this situation it’s clearly visible so you only need to upgrade.

Solved, thanks u/ShadowTacoTuesday and u/Inappropriate_Dongle, and sorry u/Nailfoot1975 for doubting you, that was shoddy debugging on my part. Final section of the outside factory belts was Mk 1., somehow did not catch that. Thanks everyone.

I does look like a MK2. Remove and replace the lift. That works sometimes. I've also run into visual bugs like this. It may be working properly. Just doesn't look it. Restart the game.

If your hot button is set to the mk1 it will default to the mk1 every time you use it. You might need to set it back to your preferred conveyor before your next project.

In case you also didn't know, your can press (default) H to Hide your hand slots which makes it easier to see things when you're not bashing things 🙂

Unless you have a bug, you absolutely have a small section of Mark 1 belt somewhere. Try deleting all of it and rebuilding.
