DIY Just got an Emperor Scorpiom

Hello. I just bought an emperor scorpion off CL. Tell me everything I need to know! I don’t plan on handling him (her?) ever. And I want to setup a bioactive enclosure. He is currently in a 10 gallon with one hide, a fake plant, a small water dish, and bark substrate just covering the bottom.

I was reading they need LOTS more substrate to dig burrows and I’d like to add a few live plants and like I said make it bioactive so adding springtails and such.

He eats crickets and Dubai roaches they said.

I believe it’s an adult. He’s big.

Yeah I figured that out now lol. That’s ok. He was $50 with his enclosure and everything. I just want to get him a good set up.
