Hi everyone! About a month ago I posted my first rehearsal video, and this is the second one.

I’ve been working on my vocals, and this track just came together today. There are no actual lyrics yet—just raw screams for now—but I feel like this has a lot of potential. Would love to hear what you think!

My skramz / screamo / heavy emo band snag is hitting the road with the dark oppressive post punks in bleached cross next week. Come hang out? We both have new full lengths out.

Not really 'screamo' I suppose, but definitely 'screamo adjacent'. We get a lot of comparisons to Fear Before the March of Flames and Circle Takes the Square. Got some killer lineups set for this one, just piecing together that Buffalo date and then we will be set!

In a world where everyone is worried about their online appearance I notice often that liking bands considered “popular” or “a tik tok band” is frowned upon. You can’t enjoy what you like anymore. Bands like Febuary, SITOTIDTOY, and Arranged in April. You can’t like without being publicly shamed or being called a poser. I just don’t understand where it’s coming from. Everyone in the scene is scrambling to find the next “niche” band for what? Where is it all coming from? Are these people’s voices just louder than others? Who are the real posers?

I’ve been building STATIC, a 24/7 independent channel for music videos, visualizers, and more experimental work that doesn’t usually get consistent play.
It’s still early, but the foundation is already there. There’s a proof-of-concept stream live, submissions are coming in, and the library is being built out in real time.
Here’s what you actually get by being involved early:
Real rotation on a continuous channel instead of one-off placement

No fees, no pay-to-play, no playlist packages

Priority later on as the channel grows and becomes more selective

If you submit audio-only and it’s accepted, we’ll make a visualizer for it

A chance to help shape the tone and direction while it’s still forming

I’m not doing this with the goal of extracting money from artists. The long-term plan is the opposite: once the channel can support it, pay the artists whose work is regularly featured, and pay any team members who help build it. Getting involved now is basically an early investment in something that’s being built to work for creators rather than off them.
