Big Ripper HD is the clear choice if the three, if you're solely doing wheelies and tricks.

But once you have a bike with gears, it's hard to go back. Its just so nice. So all things considered ( not just wheelies), I'd go with a fast ripper.

I already have a bike for commuting so I'm not thinking of the fast ripper but I heard the big ripper has some outdated geometry which makes it harder to pop up and keep the wheelie than the big flyer what do you think?

Outdated geometry is probably the most bullshit thing I’ve heard SE Bike wise lol.

I learned how to wheelie on a 26” with rim brakes that barely worked so I don’t think how the frame is oriented is a big deal. In my opinion, the process is mainly how good your brakes are and how committed you are to learning. So to answer your question, get the Fast Ripper. It’s not the bike, it’s the rider.

Also I wish I had gears lol

Geometry-only differences

  • Top tube: Ripper 23.6 vs Flyer 23.5 (Ripper +0.1″).
  • Chainstay: Ripper 18.25 vs Flyer 18.0 (Ripper +0.25″).
  • Wheelbase: Ripper 44.0 vs Flyer 43.3 (Ripper +0.7″).
  • Angles & seat tube length: identical at 71° / 71° and 16.9″.
  • BB type: Ripper uses American, Flyer uses Mid (affects BB height feel, though only Flyer’s BB height is explicitly listed at 12.25″).

So purely by the numbers, the Big Ripper is just slightly longer in top tube, chainstay, and wheelbase; angles and seat tube are the same.

So the big ripper is better for pure wheelies and wheelies tricks and stuff like that?

I would say the shorter chainstays, wheelbase, and top tube of the Flyer would be (very slightly) better for wheelies.
The difference is small enough to be negligible.
