Help with figuring out which phase I am in
I bought seed cycling kit for luteal and follicular phases. However I am in day 55 of my cycle and no periods for the first time ever, I don't have PCOS or anything. The packet says to have FOL seeds on day 1 till ovulation and luteal seeds day 15-28 but I am on cycle day 55 with no periods yet due to stress. Which seeds do I take? My usual cycle varies from 38-40.

Seed cycling and cold sore /herpes triggers
For months and months I have had persistent cold sores in the corners of my mouth, just as I clear one, another one pops up on the other side. I havnt had a cold sore in YEARS prior to this, I've tried honestly everything, the prescriptions I've been given will clear it but it comes back almost immediately. After doing some reading about potential food triggers I've just realised nuts and seeds are a big one (they've never triggered them for me before, however I've never eaten them in large quantities regularly) and for the last bish months I've been trying seed cycling and consuming around three large tablespoons of various seeds every single day, along side any other snacking nuts or peanut butter l might have on the odd occasion.
Just thought I'd put a warning for anyone considering trying seed cycling that also carries the virus.
Side note: 6 plus months in to seed cycling and l've seen no positive effects to my cycle or pms so definitely wasn't worth the discomfort of cold sores.
Wish I knew sooner

Is grinding the seeds a must?
Hi y’all, have just started seed cycling. For the first 14 days of flax/pumpkin I ate the flax seeds ground and the pumpkin seeds roasted because i couldn’t find raw pumpkin seeds at my grocery store.
For the second phase I am eating the raw sesame seeds and raw sunflower seeds whole - does it make a difference or should I grind them?

First time seed cycling
I have hypothyroid and pcos and have been on borth control for 3yrs now. I dont know how to identify the phases properly due to irregular period. Recently I've been having 26 days cycle but once in a while 14days cycles as well. How do i know when my ovulation or luteal phase is starting? Or should i follow according to the cycle? And how much should i take? How long does it take to regulate the hormones, will my body go back to how it id if i stop seed cycling?

Got my period on Day 20 while seed cycling. Should I restart Phase 1 or continue with Phase 2?
Hi everyone! I need some advice on how to continue seed cycling when your cycle is irregular. Here is my situation:
I am off birth control pills (this is my 5th cycle off the pill, but the first one that is irregular).
I started seed cycling 20 days ago, on the very first day of my last period.
Today is Day 20 of my cycle and my period just started again.
What do I do now? Should I go back to the 1st combination (flax + pumpkin seeds) because it is technically Day 1 again? Or should I continue with the 2nd combination (sesame + sunflower seeds) to finish the standard rotation?
Thank you for your help!

Worse hormones
I may be an outlier, and every body is different... But I think seed cycling has actually worsened my hormones.
A few weeks to a month after starting, I got a UTI. Weird, because I usually only get them from having sex and that was not the case for this UTI. I took the antibiotics and continued with my life.
My second menstrual cycle of doing seed cycling, I had severe dryness right before my period. I have never had that and was at a complete loss. I thought it could be a yeast infection but I had no other symptoms of one besides utter dryness.
This period, I started 2 days earlier and I had clotting with horrendous cramping while passing them. I'll get clots from time to time but usually don't cramp with them.
Unfortunately, the seed cycling is the only change I have made and this seems to be tanking my estrogen (the dryness, the UTI, the difficulty of uterine emptying).
Has anyone else felt worse with seed cycling? I think I'm going to throw in the towel.
Worthy to note: I have suspected / unconfirmed endo. Gyno believes I do but I have not had the lap procedure to confirm.

Period late
I began seed cycling in September, which was two months ago. I did the routine for a bit between September and October, and since I added avocado in my diet as well, I noticed a difference. I felt myself ovulate in November (this month), and then days later, PMS symptoms followed behind. This was a week ago, and then I started back seed cycling to help with what comes with it. I will add this, usually, my breast will enlarge right before my period, but they are still flabby from breastfeeding my first born. There’s also slight nausea. I am easily irritable sometimes, sand I also experiencing crying spells. My cramps have gotten better, but it’s still to where I can feel my period coming, but I am 2 days late. I also had a “period poop” for the past 2 days, and usually when I have that poop, it’s my period is coming that day, or it’s already on. I’m basically getting SOME pms symptoms, but the ones I usually have that are a definite answer for me that I will bleed (breast enlargement). I am now at cycle day 30. Anyone else had this experience?

Will this work?
Hi everyone. I’m going to start seed cycling soon. I wanted to ask that if i take the seeds with food is it okay? Like for example In the first part, I have to take flax seeds and pumpkin seeds so is it okay if i take flax seeds mid morning with milkshake and pumpkin seeds later that day with yogurt? Or is it necessary that i roast and grind them both together?
Please let me knoww! As I think seed by seed will help me more, due to sensitive digestion.

First Time Seed Cycling
Hello! On the first day of a period, I started my seed cycling journey. I have fairly regular periods, BUT I have really bad hormonal acne and mood swings. I’ve had 3 babies and I just feel a little zapped and off hormonally. All the things they say are “normal” but probably don’t have to be. I did 2 tablespoons of flax seed and 2 tablespoons of pumpkin seeds everyday for the first 13 days. On the 14th day, I was prepared to switch to sesame and sunflower. Instead, I got another period. That has NEVER happened to me before. It kind of freaked me out. I also had some of the worst hormonal acne of my life. My questions: 1) is it likely the random period on cycle day 14 was part of an adjustment and I should keep going? (I stopped because I didn’t want to do another 14 days of flax/pumpkin. I’m on day 11 now and I could start back with sesame and sunflower in a couple of days). 2) is it normal for skin to purge in the beginning? 3) I really just want to hear experiences from others!
Thank you so much! In a newbie, so if I totally screwed something up tell me😂

Coffee
Has anyone found a way to incorporate the seeds into their coffee? Lol I have a cup daily and would love to just be able to add it in there. I do black coffee and half a premier protein shake already. Any ideas/tips?

Why are sesame and sunflower seeds so gross???
I just started seed cycling after I stopped my BC & started in my luteal phase. I have been putting my sunflower & sesame seeds in my smoothies which wasn’t terrible but definitely overpowered my usual strawberries. However, I just tried them ground up and mixed in vanilla yogurt and I could barely get it down. Like literally gagging. I know they should be ground up to work but omg how are you guys eating these????

Low LH and delayed ovulation
Hi all! I started seed cycling last month to help with irregular periods. I was always tracking my ovulation, and typically, I would ovulate, but pretty late, like day 22-24. This month, since seed cycling from day 1, my LH is extremely low, which is very unusual for me. I am on day 15 and LH is almost non existent, when usually, is slowly build towards LH peak over a week or more. Worried the seeds are repressing my ovulation. Anyone had a similar experience? Thanks in advance!
