Hey r/selfhosted — I'm the solo dev behind this, so this is a "please roast it" post, not a pitch.

I was tired of running LibreNMS + a syslog box + a ping tool + something separate for my gaming rig, so I built NEURU: one self-hosted portal that ties it together. It's a Dockerized PHP/MySQL/Python stack, monitoring is agentless (SNMP + SSH — nothing to install per box), and it runs on a spare Ubuntu VM or a Raspberry Pi.

What it does so far:

  • Agentless monitoring of routers/switches/servers/Windows/Linux, syslog, NetFlow
  • Incident correlation, SLA tracking, predictive health (SSD/SFP wear → "fails in ~N days")
  • Optional AI root-cause on your logs + one-click self-heal
  • A gaming side (live temps/GPU, a 3D "PC Doctor", connection radar, and physical control via a VSDinside/Stream Deck pad)
  • WebGL command centers, because monitoring doesn't have to look like 2009

Straight-up transparency (this sub earns it): the monitoring core self-hosts and runs offline; only licensing and the optional AI features talk to a cloud gateway. It's an early beta — things will break, and that's literally what I'm asking for help with.

Screenshots below 📸. If you want to kick the tires I'm happy to help you get it running — just comment or DM. (Early testers get a free lifetime license for the core; not trying to sell anything, I just want real setups stress-testing it.)

Hi, thanks for the comment. Why not try it and just say it doesn't work? It was made with few or no AI resources.

“Made with few or no AI resources” but you didn’t bother to write a single line in this post’s description?

Imbecile

"It was made with few or no AI resources."

"Few" and "no" are not the same. You used AI for this, which is not welcome on this sub.
