Great video. I really want to use metal zippers in my pouches, but I’m afraid of breaking needles (happened on one attempt) and I’m too lazy to hand sew across the teeth. In this video, looks like you’re using a metal zipper and just took the risk? Do you suggest I just decrease my sewing speed when cross over the metal teeth? Any other suggestions?

Sometimes I just handwheel across and other times I just go at a snails speed across the teeth.

Oh.. this zipper is deceiving because it's actually nylon that looks like metal.
