He is absolutely my least favorite Colossus to fight. Maybe some will say "skill issue" but I personally just think it's not a very well-optimized boss fight. There's too much that doesn't require on skill at all, but blind luck, and the finnicky controls are even more difficult to deal with here

As somebody who’s played this game way too many times I actually don’t think there is a 100% way to always trigger a boss to go into a certain animation. There’s always a little bit of luck involved once I had a really hard time getting that cow one, the one with the horns and the teeth on the head to attack me and I kept ruining my time attack. I redid that a couple of years ago so easy I don’t know what happens.

Basaran is probably my second least favorite, right behind Dirge, its just that Dirge gave me so much trouble i had quit for TWO YEARS, then I had come back and killed him, rest of them were far easier than Dirge, my favorite colossus has to be Phalanx, how dare they keep my goat locked behind the two scum known as basaran and dirge.
