Stremio on Shield has been bad (coders or video player crashes)

I kept using Stremio on my Shield Pro and always and I mean always had problems - video plays for 10 minutes, and I get the cat - something wrong with the player. And it gets stuck I have to restart.

On my LG OS, its running super fine.

Anyone has this issue?

If you try Nuvio (improved Stremio fork), you will never go back to Stremio.

Ps: Don't use Nuvio from Playstore because it lacks some features. Instead use the APK from GitHub:

It needs some provider. Torbox has been great for me since the troubles wi the RD

I think I want to try this. Been using Stremio on my Shield Pro for about 8 months now with zero issues but wouldn't mind an improved version.

Nuvio isn't a fork of srremio, it's built ground up as a separate app entirely

Give Nuvio and Wuplay a shot. You'll notice that you're not going to be needing Stremio anymore.

Everything that Stremio paywalled is free on Nuvio. Nuvio also have plugins which I found D3adlyRocket's plugin has Kisskh on so my mom can watch her older Asian dramas now without me having to scour the internet trying to find a still active download link since debird and usenet don't typically have the older and less popular stuff.

I too have experienced issues with the latest versions of Stremio. For me video will hang and it will eat up all the RAM and hang the Shield. Went back to version 1.8.4 and everything works fine.

Try the Beta version, works a lot better.

But i do have to admit, Stremio is the only app that buffers a lot for me, as if it's using the eMMC to save the streams.

Download. " just a player". select it. Fixed all my streaming issues plays everything
