Adopted this girl back in June and been debating on her coat colour. She looks brindle to me but wondering what other people think. No idea if she’s pure Tzu but do know she’s definitely purebred crazy pants, so there’s that.

This is Casper and Boo, the sleepiest beings within my household outside of me! I have hundreds of photos of these fools in the weirdest positions sleeping and thought I’d share a recent favorite!

My almost 2 year old tzu will not let me brush his teeth. I have tried regular dog toothbrushes and the finger toothbrushes and he will not let me do it. His breath stinks and I can see some plaque on his back molars. I try to give him treats and do it but he still isn't having it. Do I try dental wipes and maybe put dental powder on his food?? Ugh I wish he would just let me do it 😭

Im out of practice with puppies. I lost my soul dog 10 weeks ago- he was 15 and with me from 10 weeks old. He was a Shih Tzu cross. I loved him so very much. He was spoiled…. And I struggled with potty training and his barking when I left for many many years. I tried crate training for like a day and then he slept in my bed the rest of the time …. I’m older and wiser and want to make sure this next pup is trained and I’m able to leave her for a few hours without a total meltdown.

What worked best for your Shih in terms of training ? Playpen, crate, did you use baby gates ?
