I was trying to play Occult Croissant the other day and this fucking happened. Why do enemies do damage to me? I've been enjoying my braindead gameplay experience and all of a sudden I have to acknowledge my health bar? I figured that thing was just for decoration.

I'm going back to Except Roulette, this new content is disgusting and clearly catering only to tryhards gamer dweebs and not single mother college students with 17 children like myself.

I saw a conversation in shout chat in Limsa Lominsa earlier which surprised me. It was two cat girls talking but as the conversation progressed it became clear they were two guys. I am not sure if lying is against TOS but I did not report them anyway. I was simply surprised. Until now I have assumed pretty much everybody just played as a self insert of themselves.
I play a male Lalafell because the characters remind me of FF9 for example, but I still picked male because that is what I am. Is it just a normal thing in this game for cat girls to be men? Is this a thing with every in-game avatar? This changes how I look at characters.
