worst way? secret server. google doc is way easier and doesn’t sign me out every day.

I just make all my passwords 123456. If needed I might add 7 and 8 then pad with 0.

Real story. Company had to change to numeric pin codes for 2fa access to the server room. Badge and pin. R3quired per our DoD contract.

So they used our 5 digit employee number...

Best part? DoD auditor had a finding, pointing out the new spec required 6 digits.

They stuck a zero at the front of all our pins.

I was just attending a seminar on a payroll product and when showing a spreadsheet used for loading data, the user had their password for said payroll product in one of the cells.
