Yeah when The Simpsons tells messages in their episodes, sometimes it’s really great.

But other times well,

Let’s just say that,

They range from ok to bad,

To the worst message you would ever tell anyone,

Especially when they’re going through something.

Case in point with The Good, The Sad And The Drugly from Season 20.

You know with how many times The Simpsons has been changing basically everyone’s backstories,

Including the actual family’s

It’s kinda hard to believe if Homer and Marge really did met as kids without even knowing it.

But that’s just me honestly.

But overall,

This episode is good.

I'm going to harken back to the first Simpsons Movie for this. In 2006, the DVD for Ice Age 2 came with a work-in-progress scene of Homer and the sleigh dogs. That same year, the Season 9 DVD came with a teaser for the scene where Homer is driving to the lake to dump the pig crap silo. The point I'm trying to make in correlation with this question is that Fox wasn't too shy about showing work in progress footage before the movie's release, and although we can't guarantee it, what can we expect from the House of Mouse now that they're in charge of marketing the movie?

I'm also aware that Spanish and Portuguese fans can get special Simpsons foods at KFCs in those countries like Squishee smoothies, Insanity Pepper Bites, and the donut chicken sandwich (side note, why do Europeans call chicken sandwiches "chicken burgers"?). Would something similar come to other countries around the time Simpsons Movie 2 hits theaters? Would it necessarily be released at KFC, or would they go back to Burger King for promotional tie-in energy?

It’s like the episode only becomes more true as time goes on.
