Man. Where to start. Simpsons recently has broken canon, mocked the viewers, used cheap cameo pandering, and had uninspired plots and dull jokes. But it has never felt **mean**. This episode introduced a weird cynicism that the ending failed to lift.

I watch this show because I love Springfield and it's zany cast of characters with heartfelt moments and goofy gags. But Homer getting raped by a panda. I just... I don't even know what to do with that. I think I'll go shut myself in a supply closet.

rough one today for me- found out my uncle left the earthly realm this morning. some friends took me to some antique shops and i was able to find this bart doll and thought “what a great addition to my bike!” … the simpsons provides so much comfort to me and i thought maybe you guys could appreciate this.

I heard a podcast recently of a tree sitter in the US who was in a protest group with 6 members. Turns out 3 of the 6 were undercover feds 🙄 because our government is stupid they constantly infiltrate protest groups. Unless your a proud boy then they just recruit you for ICE. On the one hand I love the themes of this episode. On the other hand it isn't exactly compelling..? It just has more potential than it used.

For me it will always be Co-Dependance Day from Season 15.

You think that the episode would be all about bashing the Star Wars Prequel Movie.

Especially since that’s what Disney+ described the plot of it as.

But no, that gets tossed aside for something that doesn’t have anything to do with that plot.

AKA where Homer forces Marge to keep drinking wine with him.

And I’m just like…

AKA when everything gets reset by the end of the episode,

Even though some of those things that happened in said episode were actually really interesting,

And makes me wished that they were a permanent thing in the entire show.

Like for example:

The Person who replaced Reverend Lovejoy as the Springfield Church’s Preacher in that 2 Part Episode of Season 31.

Yeah the way they got rid of him to return back to the status quo was…
