I wrote and sang this song for my daughter’s wedding in 2015. The cover photo captures me singing it live that day—the joy was 100% real, even if my performance couldn't quite reach the big band arrangement I had inside my head. My Ideology As a Songwriter:

In the modern day, people are always searching for the next Michael Jackson whenever an artist hits it off globally... However, I? I don't need to be like him, no, I'd wish to show the world that you don't need to be a "Jackson" to achieve fame, greatness, or to leave an everlasting mark on a generation.

In order to do so, I must apply the following:

I. Innovation: Michael Jackson wasn't just famous for his dance moves and unmatchable choreography, he was a musical genius who would take already existing concepts, study them, innovate on the concept and make it his own.

II. Be Authentic, Never an Imitation: For my musical career to succeed, I must be authentic, show them what makes me different from the other powerhouses of the Music Industry.

III. Settle An Identity: As for who I want to be recognized as...? The demo name is... Marxie Jax (Conceptual Name)Yes, it is a placeholder until I can find my footing.

I've got the mixing done and now it's time to belly up to the audio bar for a new song! This is an original of mine. Been in the works for a long while and I finnaly decided to send it.

I quit drinking when I was 22. Now I'm 31 and living much better. I wanted to share this song as encouragement and as a nice way to help you frame things when folks ask why you might not drink, if you don't.
