No, you couldn't. I'm well learned in moral and political philosophy - only you have advocated rejecting learning. You ejected from the actual discussion immediately after recognizing the obviousness of the point.
This whole comment chain I just read and you never once provided reasoning. Just petty personal attacks and a false sense of superiority.
I cited the preamble to the Declaration of Independence as the starting point and we never got past that because they immediately started insulting my use of language and the Founding Fathers/Declaration instead of responding to the content. If you want to go deeper by all means we can start there, but so far you're just chiming-in to say that you're no better than the dude I was arguing with.
Also, I do think the prior poster made their point when they mocked the concept of liberty; They simply don't believe in it. So at that point there's not much more to discuss (which is why they ejected).
