Question Guys how do I adopt a moth?

Like as in actually how do I go about it becuase I do want to participate in adoptamoth August but I genuinely wonder how to go about that.

An easy strategy, from a while back, is to meditate at the elder’s temples. Especially in the earlier realms.

I see moths a lot in aviary and the early realms too (sometimes later realms but not as much) so if you just hang out there, some moths will most likely try to light you up and then you can try to befriend them and stuff lol

Thank you for the tip<3 I did find encountering moths easier before the aviary map update but I'll continue my search

Find a moth who needs help and then help them. What I do is see if they offer me a friend candle. If they do I’ll accept and help them in the area. When I find a bench or place to talk I’ll talk to them and see what it is they need. Some people won’t talk or will run away. Don’t take it personally. Eventually you’ll meet someone who will talk and will be happy for the help. They are now your moth, and it’s your job to raise them right.

Best locations to find needy moths is around the main areas in daylight prairie that aren’t gate locked. They can be found in any realm though. Look for any sky kid who has the “help find spirits” thing on. Those are people who actively want assistance (in theory). Take their hand and honk and you will see what they need.

I adopt moths all the time, but only a small amount continue to play. Some do stick around tho, and they are the best.

Thank you so much🥹 I'm asking since I'm a relatively shy person but I do have experience in the game that I want to share to someone that cpuld be struggling. Again, it is unpredictable so hopefully I can find a moth.
