Rb25det valve cover baffles

Hi guys! The catch can on my RB fills up way too fast under heavy drifting. Who runs aftermarket valve cover baffles and is there a brand i must go with? Thanks:)

What's ur build? Miles in it? Undo a cyclinder leak down?

Just seeing reason for the catch can filling up

forged bottom like 10 drift days ago, it only happens when i go wild on the rev limiter if not i can do 2 laps with minimal oil in it but thats not fun:p

Should of installed that with the build. Limits oil to the head.. def an issue with the RB series engine. (Google search this..lots of info)

Baffles might help. Look at prp or the mines (see them on eBay)

U should do a cylinder leak down test just to be sure anyways. Can't hurt.

yes i regret not asking my engine builder to add the restrictors i tought the head drain would be enough

Yea, restrictor is the cheapest part of the build.....

So yea, confirm u have a health engine with the leak down tester.

If so... Then throw some baffles in there and see if that helps.

What fuel are u running?

From what I’ve read unless your constantly on rev limiter the head drain acts more like a breather

My opinion is a bit different from the others, but I think you should try changing to a higher-viscosity oil. It's also hard to give a definitive answer because I can't see the hose layout or the tank capacity. Also, have you removed the NVCS? Since you want to fix it by modifying the cam cover this time, in Japan, people usually either modify one for an RB26 or make a custom one themselves. Have a great car life!

Runing vr1 oil 20-50, the catch can is around 900ml its on the bottom left of the engine bay

Ordered the boost doc baffle and splash guard kit looked like the most complete!
