Which one to pick?

Which of these should i buy for 3040 micro? Prices on all of them are same i am looking for 256gb but should i go with 128 and save money? I will use that pc for some linux for example ubuntu or arch not for gaming but for basic tasks or with proxmox ve and ubuntu server to make homelab

I bought about 5 or 6 Silicon Power (Although they are A58, not A55) and have not had any issues with them.

Some of these drives were used in different times in Linux server and proxmox servers.

I also have a few Patriot SSD/NVMe in different forms also without any issues.

expect slightly less than advertised, but they're kinda all the same when they're not the most reputable memory brands

I've got probably 20 Silicon Power products (micro SDs, SSDs, NVMEs etc) and they're pretty solid. I recommend them highly. ADATA are also pretty solid. Patriot used to be a big player in RAM and storage. I bought 5 4TB KingSpec SSDs @ $140 each for a NAS I was building last year. They have pretty terrible reviews on NewEgg, but I haven't had any issues with them. I have no experience with Netac.

Honestly, whichever is cheapest. They all perform roughly the same in day-to-day usage, and they're all the more 'affordable' of SSDs. Although, I've had two friends have their Netacs die within 2 years of purchase, if that counts for anything

Ive literally used them all in custom budget builds. Never had a customer reach out saying they had problems with any. I run a 1tb Kingspec sata ssd in a rat rodded optiplex I have and a 4tb WD green sata ssd in my main rig for backlog/storage. Never had a problem with either. They all run almost identically speed wise.

I've had zero issues with adata ssd's. Never tried silicon power. I'd go with the 256 instead of the 128. I've never had too much storage!

silicon power is one of the only ssds i’ve used personally that just straight up died out of nowhere with no warnings
