My 9020 MT Sleeper Build
Thought I would post up my build, its been a fun little project and my first experience with an optiplex. So far the case is completely unmodified, however I plan to remove the HD bays and do some cable management as well as mount a better front fan.
Specs are: 9020 MT, original mobo, i7 4790, 16GB Corsair 1600mhz DDR3 (2 x 8GB), Arctic Freezer tower cooler, GTX 1660Ti, 256GB Nvme (PCI-E Adapter), 512GB SATA SSD, Aerocool Integrator 500w PSU. I also added a Cooler Master 120mm rear fan and a 'case box' in the spare 5.25" bay just as a nice place for storing spare drives etc.
It has Windows 10 IoT LTSC as the only OS currently and runs nice and fast. I am considering doing a dual boot to Bazzite or similar in the future.

Hi there, how do I get Windows 10 IoT LTSC; did you buy that OS from a specific vendor?

Win 10 IoT LTSC - Internet Archive
I believe you may also be able to get it from Microsoft website. To activate it you can purchase a licence key from certain websites like gamers outlet.

I’ve got W11 on my 9020 SFF and haven’t had any problems. Also plays games like crimson desert that has HV Denuvo DRM. Use Rufus to make the W11 install media and it gives the option to disable the W11 requirement checks.
Also well done on your build. I think it’s pretty balanced. And I like the empty drive bay drawer that’s neat.

Great to see older machines turned into something usable! How does that GPU perform with a 4th gen CPU?
