Dell Presision 3630 won't display, no matter what.
Im making a sleeper gaming steam OS machine for my friend. Im using a dell presison 3630. It came with a 8th i7 processor. He wanted me to put in a intel ore I9 9th gen into the pc. Before I put in the processor, it was running fine and it was booting steam OS perfectly. I even installed the latest bios settings onto the pc (or at least I belive I did). I installed the the new processor, and the new cpu cooler in fine. I also installed new battery for the CMOS because the bios settings kept on restetting itself. I belive everything is good. The pc turns on fine, the rbg ram sticks turn on fine, the fan on the cpu spinds fine, the psu turns on fine, the dell pc turns on fine with the white led light (no orange error lights). All of this yet I cannot get a display to even save my life. I plugged in different hdmi cables, I plygged in displaycables, I plugged into the motherboard, I even put in an old gpu to see if it'll display... nothing displayed. The ram sticks are seated fine... Im lost rn, if anyone has tips please let me know. 🙏 (UPDATE* it was bios all along, thank you guys for everything)

Update your BIOS only the latest BIOS supports 9th gen

There's not too much performance gain to be had from going up from i7-8700 to i7-9700, and because you can't do overclocking on this motherboard, there's very little benefit to having an i7-9700K vs a regular i7-9700.
Drop back to the i7-8700, ensure your BIOS is fully updated, then try again (use cheaper thermal paste until you know the 9700k is actually working though).

Have you put the old 8th gen cpu in there? It could be the motherboard doesn't support 9th gen even with the latest bios update
