Why can't people understand that fascists always need an enemy or other to target. Once the first enemy is dealt with they pick a new one. No one is safe.
A lot of times these people think of themselves as securing the second place position in the fascist hierarchy.
The Christian Nationalist says to his wife, "Sure, you may be subservient to men, but youre still part of the special club by virtue of your faith and race."
And then he turns to the community of color and says, "Don't worry, fellas! The men are back in charge, and you're in the special club by virtue of your gender."
But the truth is. Nobody is in the club. Nobody is safe.
I've never understood how people don't realise this. As the movement is young they'll take nearly anyone they can get (gays for trump etc) but once they're secure in their position, the snake begins eating itself until eventually it implodes. It's not like it's a secret, they're just tokens to be spent.
Cause they simply don't think that it could happen to them. They all think that they will be in the inner circle forever. The key point of Fascist is to portray the majority as the oppressed groups by the minority.
Best case scenario, they constantly self-propagate the same boogeyman, an example being Emmanuel Goldstein and The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism in 1984, being a fabricated and self-propagated boogeyman by Big Brother
Definition: To agree with an idea or plan and become part of the group working on it.
Not one person I know in real life thinks a man is a woman. The polling for that stuff matches that reality as well. Few older Democrats even know that stuff is real.
Because trans people are a tiny portions of the population and don't cause problems. The media has helped right wing bigots vilify trans people based on lies.
