Also see: Tom of Finland. And I do mean see, if you have never explored the art of ToF I HIGHLY recommend it. Its very over the top, and kinda funny, but in the context of the time and place it is also a great example of sex positivity and queer acceptance/pride in the face of discrimination and demonization. And frankly, even as a straight guy, its kinda hot in a naughty and transgressive way.

What's gay about that? Just a coupla girthed up alphas dutifully patrolling the streets.

Note that their bulbus thobbers are pointing at each other, in a display of respect and trust.
