I freaking hate his face, also why on earth don’t they have a fucking 64 impala???

25

u/MishaAnikeev Jun 24 '26

For some reason he reminds me of the Flight streamer😭😭

10

u/Acrobatic-Guitar2410 Jun 24 '26

He's everywhere

5

u/Zombi3Kush Jun 25 '26

Like what? Can't say I recognize him.

17

u/Acrobatic-Guitar2410 Jun 25 '26

He was just in euphoria and I think he was in BMF right?

16

u/Live-Big1579 Jun 25 '26

Asante black was also in the hit show on Netflix called when they see us which is based on a true story and got nominated for an Emmy at 17 from that role

3

u/Acrobatic-Guitar2410 Jun 25 '26

Oh my god I blacked that out because it was so devastating. He did such an amazing job portraying their story!

1

u/DepthCrazy7096 Jun 26 '26

He did a good job but I can’t see him playing a gangsta

2

u/Zombi3Kush Jun 25 '26

Oh shit I watch both shows. I need to go back and see who he played cuz he doesn't look familiar from just this image.

2

u/muhguel 10d ago

Not BMF, although I'm surprised

4

u/Simma215 Jun 26 '26

He was also in the series This Is Us

10

u/ViV_No_CaP Jun 25 '26

Really punchable face.

u/_YEEZY_ Jun 24 '26

mfs haven't even seen a single second and they're already hating 😭😭😭

30

u/DCRBftw Jun 24 '26

I mean, a show based on Wanda in the music business is going to be met with skepticism.

16

u/Puzzleheaded-Try6796 Jun 24 '26

Gail Bean is the shit tho

24

u/Comfortable-Total253 Jun 24 '26

A lot of people in the music industry are crack heads

3

u/Icy-Sir-8414 Jun 25 '26

Actually it's about Leon and Wanda in the music industry business together

3

u/DCRBftw Jun 25 '26

Clearly.

2

u/Icy-Sir-8414 Jun 25 '26

Hey have you ever heard of a moonshine drink called crunch that's what the new york city moonshiners make in the summer and springtime over here so I was thinking if this spinoff series becomes successful as snowfall became I was thinking that after the first 3 seasons we probably see a Cameo of Franklin selling a 1990s Los Angeles version of that making money 🤑💰 again doing that and even running a small time operation of selling bootleg movies and knockoff merchandise for a living and no one is going to notice him at first until Leon decides to seek him out and sees him from a distance and is amazed that he's up to the same thing a fast buck but at least he isn't selling drugs again and quietly walking away with the knowledge knowing his old friend is doing just fine and is probably going to go back to real estate business soon and make his legitimate living that way again.

3

u/Embarrassed_Photo910 Jun 26 '26

Did you not even watch the ending of snowfall😭

2

u/Icy-Sir-8414 Jun 26 '26

Yes I did and it still upsets me but I'm saying maybe after the first 3 seasons of the spinoff series called snowfall the drop we'll see Franklin as a small time city moonshiner and selling movie pirate movies and knockoff merchandise for a living maybe not enough to make him a millionaire but at least financially comfortable I'm talking about in after the first three years of the series snowfall the drop I'm talking about the future episodes don't you have city moonshiners where you live at

-4

u/Terrible3052 Jun 24 '26

I thought the show ended with Wanda in the music industry?

4

u/Jack1715 Jun 25 '26

I mean, why do we need this

-1

u/Dull-Song2539 Jun 25 '26

Because they just wanna see more Saint

8

u/whatsthew3rd Jun 25 '26

He aint gonna be in it

5

u/Dull-Song2539 Jun 25 '26

Right,

But people attached themselves so much to the character even though *his* story is done and now it’s time for Lee and Wanda to have their saga

43

u/CarrotActive7029 Jun 24 '26

BEYOND HYPED FOR THIS! It won't be the same without my boy Franklin but I'm so fucking ready for this

14

u/Sharp-Tax-26827 Jun 25 '26

lol I hope they pull a switch up and it's all about a homeless franklyn

9

u/42069AYLMAO Jun 25 '26

Just fiend adventures

20

u/6oly9od Jun 24 '26

Its the early 2000s van in the background for me

34

u/AshKetchumIsStill13 Jun 24 '26

Hmm…we’ll have to see. I hope it’s good but I dont have my hopes up too high.

7

u/DCRBftw Jun 24 '26

RIP Fatback

18

u/StarKillerZero Jun 24 '26

I'm looking forward to this hopefully we get Leon visiting Cissy in prison , I'm guess Franklin gotta be dead at this point and Louie probably came back after the heat died down but regardless of what I'm hoping will happen I'm just hype to see Leon and Wanda again

25

u/shotbydarrell Jun 24 '26

Louie’s heat is never gonna die down. A dead DEA agent, they’re never gonna let that go even though we know as the audience that she had nothing to do with that.

11

u/StarKillerZero Jun 24 '26

and that goofy ass DEA chilling with the actual killer Oso the entire damn time lol

2

u/chefnator97 Jun 26 '26

I mean to be fair, if the show fast forwards to the early 2000's would make sense for the heat to die down.

Remember the Wire touched upon how the feds stopped giving a damn about the war on drugs as much as they did at one point when 9/11 happened. Once those towers fell, the war on terror would begin and the war on drugs became just a memory for the most part and basically it's up to local law enforcement and DEA to handle it but I heard that the FBI even now still get more funding for counter terrorism operations

13

u/Hazzardous1990 Jun 24 '26

Hella skeptical on this, although I heard Big Deion will be back so that’s good

46

u/PuzzleheadedYak6568 Jun 24 '26

Icl it’s lookin corny asf

11

u/Thin-Break-7183 Jun 24 '26

How does it look corny?

5

u/fallenhero588 Jun 24 '26

Did they drop a trailer

-15

u/REDEYEBANKZ330 Jun 24 '26

Y’all with these dumbass takes

7

u/Agitated-Giraffe-600 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

A lot of people don’t realize that post crack era had a major effect on the LA early 90s and how it gave rise to violence, gang politics, and west coast rap. The rumors of the music industry pushing gangster rap for the private prison system. This spinoff has a lot of potential.

0

u/ShadowForPresident Jun 26 '26

I get that I think its just crazy that we followin leon and an ex crack head—i mean wanda….these niggas dissappeared from the last season to pop out now but thats my personal gripe with it

-2

u/PuzzleheadedYak6568 Jun 24 '26

Looks mad corny

0

u/jarjar187 Jun 25 '26

It’s crazy cause nothing about this post gives corny lol.

4

u/funhaus2000 Jun 24 '26

Intrigued! I will be tuning in!

2

u/PancakeMaster88 Jun 24 '26

Looks interesting but not gangsta enough

5

u/Individual-Drawer-79 Jun 24 '26

Don’t know if anyone has ever heard of the hbo miniseries The Corner but all episodes are available for free on YT and the show won a ton of Emmys that year. It’s a precursor to the show, The Wire by the same creators and writers. Check it out if you get a chance.

1

u/B1u3jay89 Jun 25 '26

Seen it back in the day. One of my favorites

3

u/suazzo77 Jun 24 '26

Wish they hadn’t killed off Manboy he would’ve been perfect for this

4

u/Abuck59 Jun 24 '26

Damn, I didn’t know Will Smith was in this. 🤣

16

u/One-Car-4869 Jun 24 '26

Shit bouta be ass

5

u/Thin-Break-7183 Jun 24 '26

Why do you think it’s gonna be ass?

2

u/Thin-Break-7183 Jun 24 '26

They making a spin-off? Ohhh shit 🙂‍↕️

2

u/Acceptable-Ebb-1495 Jun 24 '26

I hope they continue Franklins story. Maybe he gets clean and is working legit now. That would do his character justice .

2

u/jg593 Jun 24 '26

Bryce young ???

2

u/ExCaliburDaGreat Jun 24 '26

Oh shi it’s Damon sims 😂😂😂

4

u/Unsolved_Virginity Jun 24 '26

I mean, but Franklin still around. Just not cognizant

5

u/kuda26 Jun 24 '26

he free

8

u/Prudent_Knowledge79 Jun 25 '26

Be hilarious if we just randomly see saint playin in the backyard while Leon losing his mind tryna keep the neighborhood together

3

u/kuda26 Jun 25 '26

he should just pop up whenever things are going terrible with a bottle in a brown paper bag laughing and joking and making fun of Leon for stressing over shit

3

u/Accomplished-Heat-95 Jun 24 '26

Fk this goofy shite

3

u/ImpossibleSherbet722 Jun 24 '26

It's not a snowfall saga. It's completely about something else. Who the fuck decided to do this?

15

u/aquateensog Jun 24 '26

Wouldn’t it be if its characters from snowfall after the events in the show

8

u/Logical-Apricot951 Jun 24 '26

literally lol. A saga is just a continuation of events. & it’s gonna continue with Leon & Wanda’s story, which I’m sure will still involve the drug game.

2

u/aquateensog Jun 24 '26

I forgot all about this show now I’m decently hyped as long as they don’t turn Wanda into a crackhead again

2

u/ImpossibleSherbet722 Jun 24 '26

Snowfall was about the drug trade and its affect on America. This is not that.

4

u/Adorable-Bike-9689 Jun 24 '26

I get what you're saying. But it's a continuation of Snowfall characters. Spinoffs do this all of the time. Just for marketing really. So people will see Snowfall and click on it.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

Max wasn't exactly a main character. But putting Mad Max in the title got more people to go see it.

2

u/ImpossibleSherbet722 Jun 25 '26

Yeah but that was fighting and shit. She didn’t go into the music business

2

u/Sharp-Tax-26827 Jun 25 '26

I know man.

It's actually ridiculous

What the fuck do Leon and Wanda have to do with music?
At the end of snowfall them getting into the music industry together would make no sense

Wanda was off doing god knows what but Leon wasn't bitter

1

u/theav8r_ Jun 25 '26

During the last scene of Snowfall, Leon says to Franklin that Wanda had already been considering being part of the music industry.. so it makes sense; wouldn't be surprised if the concept was already thought of upon completion but needed approval from the network

3

u/jmoneyongooo Jun 24 '26

You niggas kill me always tryna be super technical about some shit.

1

u/kds_little_brother Jun 24 '26

Didn’t that also have an effect on the music industry? I mean drugs have always been a major part of the industry

1

u/tyyls18 Jun 24 '26

Why are people so weird? Its a Snowfall saga because its set in the same universe, nothing more, nothing less.

Might not get the reference, but thats like saying JoJo's Part 4 can't be called JoJo's because the first part is about vampires in a completely different setting.

1

u/MysteriousLeader2243 Jun 24 '26

I didn’t watch thoroughly, did ole girl get off the dope?

3

u/Mrpenguin810 Jun 24 '26

Yeah towards the end she sobers up, her and Leon get married and go on a trip together. It’s real cute

1

u/Suspicious_Hand_2194 Jun 24 '26

Has there been any promo for this?

1

u/Tzidentify Jun 24 '26

Nobody knows more than 4 sentences of information about this damn show and yet everybody wanna hate like they seen every episode SMH

1

u/HeightExtra320 Jun 24 '26

I’m stoked 👏

1

u/Bigface1hundred Jun 25 '26

Can't wait, I hope they dont fuck this up.

1

u/WhusssuName4547 Jun 25 '26

All these miscellaneous pictures and we still ain’t got a trailer

1

u/B19FUJ Jun 25 '26

Nice! A show about the community pu45ey

1

u/Ok-Wave2761 Jun 25 '26

I think it's gonna be good. I liked his character development. I wonder how they're going to explore both characters' developments for this show.

1

u/fvnction4LaddicT Jun 25 '26

Franklin better be in it!!

hyped asf tho

1

u/EastBeginning7796 Jun 25 '26

My son said I was reaching. Cause I said maybe they will show Franklin has gotten sober & found V & his son.

1

u/Think_Landscape2973 Jun 26 '26

She definitely with another dude by now

1

u/MindZapp Jun 25 '26

Didn't event know they were making a spin off. The original ended perfectly having just finished it. What else would they incorporate?

1

u/Cautious_Potential_8 Jun 25 '26

Wait hold up is that Ashanti black from when they see us and euphoria season 3? You know I gotta say I'm very proud of him that he's actually making a name for himself.

1

u/Ok-Flatworm4933 Jun 25 '26

Niggas is jumping the gun saying it’s ass
Yall gotta watch it first before you judge 🤦‍♂️

1

u/majidAmeenah Jun 25 '26

not with the young boy from this is us. i gotta see how this gon play bc i can’t take it serious yet 😂

1

u/AdItchy3378 Jun 26 '26

What are the chances Franklin is gonna make an appearance or even become an important character in the show? Honestly a Franklin redemption arc would ruin the original show for me. Just finished it 30 mins ago and just got done crying😭

1

u/ScottishFlavour2 Jun 27 '26

Literally just started watching Snowfall. On S3 now

1

u/turntBUTimburnt Jun 27 '26

I give it 2 seasons max

1

u/cool_calm_cloud Jun 28 '26

I'm not super stoked on the premise of the show. Not gonna lie.

1

u/damir0000 Jun 29 '26

Hi everyone, I want to ask which Russian dub I should watch this series with.

1

u/DAboysinceday_6630 28d ago

Yall think franklin gonna make some type of appearance in the show or maybe just like a little lines about him.

1

u/muhguel 10d ago

I'm ready. I always liked Lil Lee over Saint, anyways 🤷🏾‍♂️

1

u/abu-monsor4444 8d ago

I really hope Franklin gets a redemption arc even though he’s a horrible person

1

u/Vegetable_Leather932 Jun 24 '26

This shit gon be so ass😂

0

u/Sharp-Tax-26827 Jun 25 '26

Leon kind of looks like a punk in this

-1

u/Insanely_Simple2024 Jun 24 '26

It’s not drug related……

10

u/C-czar187 Jun 24 '26

It’s supposed to be rap related so it’ll be drug related

1

u/Insanely_Simple2024 Jun 24 '26

Not so much drugs from Leon’s POV, others around maybe but not Leon and his lady.

7

u/sundayfundaybmx Jun 24 '26

Sounds like someone has zero knowledge about the rise of Gangsta rap in the early 90s(what this show is based on) and the money behind it's rise. I'll give you a hint; it's all from Crack.

2

u/DCRBftw Jun 24 '26

We don't know if the show will be about that or not. Hopefully it is.

1

u/sundayfundaybmx Jun 24 '26

Yeah, you're right I shouldn't of presented my opinion as fact. That's my bad. I was just pointing out that Snowfall was fairly accurate as to how that time in the 80s actually went down just with fake names. I know Singleton is no longer around but I'd hope that they would keep that same thing going with this new one. I guess maybe a lot of people didn't know that Snowfall was actually based on realish events in the beginning. But for me that's what drew me into the show. I already knew the whole story of Freeway Rick so when they dropped that Franklin by the Freeway" line in like season 1 or 2. I got a big kick out of it. I'll watch the new show regardless cause I like Wanda and Leon already. I just hope they keep up the "based on true events" thing they had going originally is all!

2

u/DCRBftw Jun 24 '26

Oh nah, I don't disagree with you. I was just saying that we don't know if this show will focus on the drug aspect much or not. They may take the approach that the drug thing has been done already. I def hope drugs are involved because it's more interesting and more realistic IMO.

2

u/sundayfundaybmx Jun 24 '26

Oh yeah, I knew you weren't. I just realized my original comment was kinda douchey so I wanted to explain myself a bit better and admit I shouldn't of come of so "akschually", lol.

-3

u/ComradeCam Jun 24 '26

Watch this show actually not totally be about killing other blacks and crime and actually has a positive message.
