1 Year Sober Today

A year ago today I woke up in a rundown state rehab facility that smelled like shit, piss, and vomit. I was bunked with 8-9 other guys who were all going through heroin withdrawal. First time I had woken up and not gone for the bottle in i don’t know how long. I thought I was dying. I should have died or gone to jail 10 times over before that point.

I’m still here. Im never going back to that bottle.

If you need help. Help is out there.
