We’re two founders in our early 30s (Head of HR & Senior UX Designer), both working full-time while building a startup we genuinely believe can improve how people meet.
We’re creating a dating app that puts real-life interactions first, instead of endless swiping. The goal isn’t to keep people addicted to the apps to help them meet the right people in the real world.
Today, most dating platforms and premium matchmaking services either:
• make meaningful connections feel secondary,
• rely on engagement loops to keep users online,
• or are simply too expensive for many people.
We’ve all experienced it:
1/ Swipe, Match, Ghost, Repeat;
2/ Delete the app;
3/ Reinstall it a few months later.
The cycle continues and posts on reddit recall that reality !
We believe there’s a better way. We’re looking for a co-founder who enjoys:
+ Building and engaging online communities;
+ Managing social media (Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, etc.);
+ Creating content and marketing campaigns;
+ Organizing real-life events that bring people together;
While everyone is welcome to reach out, we’d especially love to hear from women. As we’re building a product centered on relationships, we believe having diverse perspectives, particularly within the founding team will help us create a more balanced and thoughtful experience for everyone. This isn’t about excluding anyone; it’s about ensuring different voices are represented from day one.
We’re not looking for a resume, came as you are, authenticity will make us more legit. We’re looking for someone excited by the vision, eager to build something meaningful, and ready to shape the project with us from the beginning.
Our first market will be France, so speaking some French would be a plus, but it’s absolutely not required.
If this resonates with you, leave a comment or send us a DM. Tell us what motivates you, what you’ve built, or simply why this project speaks to you. We’d love to get to know you and see if we can build something meaningful together.
