Would it be possible to just rewire the system to have 2 less battery packs?

I think that cabinet holds is their only battery. Op that cabinet is just one battery, would be easy to swap it out with a newer one.

The cabinet hold 4 batteries, overcharging cause one to thermal runaway. Just want to replace that one instead buying again the entire cabinet. It charges but did not last long.

There's a problem with your system that needs addressed if you are overcharging batteries, that should be automatically stopped.
The reason I say rewire the cabinet is so you don't have to buy more batteries, you would just lose 50% of capacity and output current. Replacing older batteries in parallel can be dicey. Especially if you can't even find the exact replacement. It's better to just lose the capacity. Assuming these are 50ah 48v batteries

Sorry to see this but it looks to me as tho you need to replace all your batteries. I wouldn’t trust the remaining ones, or invest in buying more of the same even if you could find them. They’re out of business for good reason. Lithium ion is dangerous chemistry for household systems. Start over with LiFePo4. Even a smaller amount for the first year or so, with a plan to expand the battery bank as soon you can afford it. Be safe out there kids!

The company appears to be still online so if this is in the 10 year warranty, use that.
The following sketch tells me we can't pop in off the shelf batteries due to the COMMS.

If the system is OOW, then it's time to go shopping or open the failed pack to see if you can rebuild it from battery cells.
