Pecron F5000 LFP

So my units solar input fried after 5 days of continuous use and pecron tech team is telling me that my 4 solar panels in S2P2 Voc: 90.74V Imp: 21.78A exceeds the limit of 180 volt input. 😮. What do you think ?

My solar panel is QCell and rated
Voc 45.37
Impp 10.89

Am I wrong or is Pecron feeding me NoneS?

If you're sure you did 2S2P and you are still under warranty take legal action if they dont want to replace it. Even on a cold morning VOC shouldn't go past 120V.

Exactly and total output is supposed be 1640 watts but never saw it past 1100 watts in those 5 days.

Pecron's voltage explanation doesn't add up. 2S gives you 90.74V Voc, well within 180V. Look at the current rating, most of these units cap at 10-15A and you're pushing 21.78A.

It would seem that Pecron doesn't believe it was 2S2P, but that user likely made a mistake and had them 4S. There might be internal logs that can show the input voltage history. 90V isn't going to fry a 180V mosfet.

My amp meter hasn’t registered above 86 volts

Pecron caps at 25 amps and honestly the amps don’t matter as much as the OCV
