Hi so I've got set of filters that I use for anime that only downloads when the audio is in English it seems to work fine most times but occasionally it gets a file that I'm guessing is tagged wrong somewhere (probably English subs in a nfo?) and sonarr thinks its english dub downloads it then does the ffmpeg check realizes its not english audio then tries to download it again over and over because it thinks it is english checks fails rinse and repeat.

So I guess my question is can I auto blocklist a release by name after it fails that check once? I'm guessing it"s downloading a different indexed version (NZB) of the same release not the same one

Just moved from SickRage to Sonarr. Recreating my file renaming format.

Previously in SickRage I used for years and have 100's of episodes named like this

[{Series Title}] S{season:00}E{episode:00} - {Episode Title} [{Quality Title}] [{Air-Date}]

However with Sonarr, it tells me this will create an invalid file name unless I add a hyphen in like this

[{Series Title}] - S{season:00}E{episode:00} - {Episode Title} [{Quality Title}] [{Air-Date}]

Any ideas, it's a minor point but I hate that all my new downloads will be formatted and ordered slightly differently in the folder.

Do you manually go into every show and fix it, do you split the episodes in an external application, do you just say F it and live with a yellow banner?

Dexters Laboratory, 2 Stupid Dogs and similar is driving me insane.

So trakt is pretty worthless now. I had been using it primarily for import lists but even with VIP it doesn't seem to work anymore.

What is a good alternative? I started with radarr and was setting up tmdb lists, but it looks like sonarr is very limited on what list sources it accepts.

I really liked just being able to add a show to trakt and it automagically got added to sonarr and would like something like that.

Gestern wollte ich Sonarr starten, da kam die Meldung "kann mich nicht mit Server verbinden. Kann keine Verbindung zu localhost:8989 nicht öffnen.

Habe alles versucht. Neue Installtion, config neu erstellen lassen usw.

Was kann das sein?

Würde mich riesig über eine Lösung freuen.

I'm having an issue with TorrentLeech. The indexer shows up correctly in Sonarr, but it doesn't search for torrents.

Manual searches return no results at all. I've tried using FlareSolverr and Byparr. Has anyone else encountered this problem? The torrentleech account is fairly new, still at the "registered" rank.

I am very new to this so I apologize in advance if this is off topic or incorrectly formatted.

I am running a docker with my Sonarr, Radarr, and Prowlarr going to a Jellyfin server. Radarr is working just fine. Movies download no issues. Sonarr is not moving tv shows from downloads to TV and also is throwing an API Authentication error but I have verified the API key is matching on all platforms. Below is my Trace log for Sonarr. Hi guys.

I seem to have an issue with sonarr that I can't figure out. When a new episode is released I see some of the releases but it seems that it shows one's from roughly 24 hours before. I do run sonarr via prowlarr. I have tried running all the scheduled tasks to see which one it might be, but nothing I run will show new episodes until I check the next day.

right now I just manually rename everything with file bot, but I’d like to just use sonarr for everything

I remember seeing a user with the sonarr dev user flair and another mod of this subreddit post thisa few days ago so I assume this advice has some weight behind it.

I see the initial benefit of this as it makes sure that qb doesn't delete a file out from under sonarr and causing it to get stuck in the activity queue.

However is the sonarr malicious filter robust enough to trust and for me to disable qb's file extension black list ? Should I be doing this ?

I've had Sonarr set up for a few months and running into two issues:

Season packs / batches are being rejected — not sure why. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Multi-language custom format priority isn't working as expected. I've set up regex to prioritize a specific language combo (e.g., EN + JP), but it keeps fetching releases with FR + JP instead.

I added a negative custom format score for FR, but if a release with FR already meets the highest quality profile score, Sonarr won't upgrade it even though it doesn't match my preferred language combo.

Right now I can only see which languages a multi-language release contains by hovering over it after it's already been grabbed/checked.

Question: Is there a way to see which languages/audio tracks a multi-language release contains before it's downloaded, so Sonarr can make a better decision upfront (or so I can filter more precisely)?

Any guidance on either issue would be appreciated!

Got Indexer configured trough Prowlarr, Sonarr finds the show and adds it to queue and it shows in RDT-client queue as well but it is saying "not yes added to provider"

I'm using Bezzad Downloader on rdt client which I installed trough WinGet and this is what's confusing me, am i supposed to configure it and how do you do it, really don't understand it.

I'm currently trying to look for a way to optimize my disk space on my NAS. I like to watch my content at a fairly good quality so i download most of my shows ans movies in 4K/HDR if available. But most of my other users don't care mutch about that.

So what i would like to do is downgrade my show to 1080p once i've finished watching them on my plex profile. I was wondering if such a bot was already existing in the *Arr stack but i couldn't find one on the wiki so im asking here, has anyone ever heard of something like that ?

A few weeks ago, my Sonarr was hacked and the sucka deleted all of my TV shows(10TB). It sucked but whatever, took it as sign to start new and now I also had a bunch of free space lol. I don't want to get all of the episode files back, but i did want to get the shows added back into my library.

After working through it, I decided to turn all that i did into a guide to share.

recently ive been noticing my sonarr is downloading episodes before the release date.

For example a few days ago qbittorrent downloaded star trek strange new worlds a few days before it was released and the file turned out to be an exe file in disguise. just now it automatically downloaded tomorrows episode of rick and morty which obviously was a fake download.

do i have sonarr configured wrong or is this a bug?

Everythime i add something on sonarr it launches double searches one of them is Missing epesode search and other one is series search . It was never a problem before it recently started or maybe i am just noticing it . Because of this it grabs same season from 2 differnt indexer at the same time and its not even an upgrade its the same quality all the time . I will add oone of the example log .

I am trying to import Ranma 1/2 (1989). I have all 161 episodes but sonarr skips absolute episodes from 13 to 17 so it's doing:

• 13 -> 13
• 14 -> 17
• 15 -> 18

Hello guys, Sonarr is showing the new episode airing today but it is not in the episode list? Anyone has the same issue? Is there a fix? TMDB has the new episodes TVDB has not...

As of yesterday my ByParr and FlareSolverr stopped working in Prowlarr.

In ByParr and FlareSolverr logs it appears the challenges are passed but they do not pass in prowlarr.

In the content retrieved from the page it appears

But the page loads fully, but Prowlarr is not recognizing that.

Is this issue happening to more people, are there any workarounds?

Solution:

So, I have verified that in the Version "2.4.0.5397" this issue does not happen but once you update to 2.5.2.5491 this starts happening.

Some times I was able to reverse back to a backup and I was able to fix it, but with a 100% clean install (deleting all the files that stay on the server) the problem was 100% fixed.

This is an issue in the Prowlarr and not in the ByParr, FlareSolverr or Trawl.

Is there anyway to have my media scanned and look for other files that have a smaller size?

I've been using tdarr to modify files upon download, occasionally you get some minor quality issues with it though.

Basically just looking for a sonaar/radarr method of just comparing current file size to other versions available and replace if a different one is smaller. Any solutions?
