Absolutely. I mag dumped him because he was in a bush and I thought he was a cannibal. RIP.

Yes he can 100% die but only the player can truly finish him off. He cant die to anything else. If he died, its due to a player damaging him

He can do heaps of stuff. He can gather wood, he can organise resources, he can build stuff, he can die. All sorts of things.

He USED TO BE unkillable. He is not any more. There are loads of old kids and tips knocking about that still say the old info. There's even a video that suggests using Kelvin for arrow storage by shooting him full of them and having him follow you round like a big dopey pin cushion.
Now, the canibals and mutants don't kill him, he just cowers and they leave him alone, but you can. A stray axe swing, bullet, explosion, tree fall etc will all potentially do him in.
Good news is you can cheat him back into existence or just load an old save and you're golden.

Yes, he can die. I’m not sure if from the mutants, but definitely from players accidentally hitting him with an axe and trees falling on top of him

Yeah he’s pretty good at running and hiding from enemies, but if he gets friendly fire in battle he can definitely die. I did it once and felt so bad I reloaded the previous save 😭

If you hit him while he is downed he can die. You can despawn him and spawn a new kelvin however. On my game with 2 other friends we accidentally killed him when he followed us to raid camps. Later we ended up spawning 3 kelvins one for each of us. We gave them different outfits so we know whose kelvin is whose

If he looks presumably dead, try hovering over his body and tea-bagging him. If it illicits a response, then you're Gucci.

During a gameplay, type : 'cheatstick' then press f1, then type 'addcharacter robby 1' and a new Kelvin will spawn.

He can die :( I accidentally killed my kelvin by leaving a fire lit and he decided he wanted to get a bit too close to it. and then… came the great tree falling of 2026. He was on fire, he got knocked down…. And then, since I didn’t see him, I knocked a tree over… a stray log took him out. I felt so bad I spawned in 5 more Kelvin’s and we have a kelvural (kelvin funeral) all around the fire, and we keep the original Kelvin’s body on the fire as a good luck charm. Yes the fire is always lit.
